Concept & Participation

(i) These terms and conditions apply to the “Britannia Gold Morning Offer” programme for consumers sponsored and launched by Britannia Industries Ltd wherein consumers can participate by sending an SMS with the Lot Number printed on the Britannia Bread pack to 9902099020.

Post that the consumer needs to complete her/his entry giving their details by logging on to britanniagoldmorning.com. Entry will not be completed otherwise.

(ii) The contest is valid only in Bangalore City. Participation will be accepted from the registered mobile users of Bangalore city only. Offer starts from 20 Nov till 20 Dec 2017 (herein after referred as “Contest Period”).
(iii) During the Contest Period one DAILY PRIZE will be awarded to winners who will be selected on each day of the Contest, and each shortlisted winner shall be eligible to win a 1 Gram Gold Coin, subject to the conditions duly fulfilled by the shortlisted winner.
(iv) The Contest is subject to all applicable state and local laws and regulations.
(v) Consumers participating or seeking to participate in the Contest shall individually be referred to as “Participant” and collectively as “Participants”.

Terms and Conditions

(i) By participating in this contest, Participants fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these Terms and Conditions available on britanniagoldmorning.com (“Contest Website”). The decisions of BIL will be final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Successfully entering the Contest and winning a prize is subject to all requirements set forth herein.

(ii) BIL reserves the right to exclude any person from the contest on grounds of misconduct or criminal record or for any other reasons, as it may deem fit and proper. No communication in the regards will be entertained.
(iii) BIL reserves the right to terminate, modify or extend the Contest, at any time at its absolute discretion, without advance notice and/or assigning any reason. All decisions of BIL in respect of the Contest and the prizes therein will be final and binding.

Eligibility

(i) This Contest will be open to all the residents of India with the exception of employees, their immediate family members, agents, distributors, retailers and any other channel partner of BIL and the agency.
(i) In order to be eligible for the daily prize, all shortlisted winners will be required to have valid address and a PAN card/ Aadhar card.

Contest Period & Timings

(i) The contest will commence from midnight of 20th Nov 2017 the midnight of 20th Dec 2017 (hereinafter referred to as “Contest Period”).
(ii) The Participants can make an entry any time during the Contest Period but the daily winner generation will be for the entries received on every day midnight (12 am) to previous day midnight (12am) (here in after referred as “Contest Timings”)
(iii) Time of participation will be defined as the time at which the entry is received through the SMS mode.
(iv) Entries coming outside the Contest Period will not be considered for winner selection.
(v) The contest shall run on the all SKUs of Britannia Breads available in Bangalore city.

Daily Prize

(i) Daily Prize – Participants will be chosen each day between midnight of previous day to midnight of current day (12 am to 11.59pm) during the Contest Period. Participants will be chosen through a computerized, scientific random selection by BIL or the Agency appointed by BIL.
(ii) There will be one 1 Gram Gold Coin to be won daily during the Contest period.

How to Participate

Any participant can enter the contest maximum 1 time per day [AY1] from a mobile number registered in Bangalore through SMS to participate in the Contest. Customers have to send an SMS to 9902099020 and then follow the instruction to complete their entry by logging onto britanniagoldmorning.com and uploading their details as required.

BIL and the Partner Agency shall not be responsible for (including but not limited to):
** Customers participation in the contest is sole discretion of customers and they agree to bear any kind of cost required to participate including cose of sending email/sms/data/courier/travel or logistics related cost.
** For any SPAM generated messages
** For the Operator Code not being displayed on the user’s mobile phones
** For any SMS message delivery failures
** Any lost, late or misdirected computer transmission or network, electronic failures or any kind of any failure to receive entries owing to transmission failures or due to any technical reason
** If the participant has registered himself to the DND of the telecom provider/ the participant has registered with National Do Not Call Registry/ Participant has specifically requested for not receiving messages for the specific campaign
** Any Other conditions / factors beyond its reasonable control

Winner Selection

A draw through computerized, random scientific selection will be conducted every day as per below.
(ii) Winner for 1st day will be selected on the next day from the pool of valid entries (Valid entries means entries received between 00:00:01 to 23:59:59 of that day) received during the first day.
(iii) The prize will be a 1 Gram Cold Coin. No claim regarding the model/ make of the prize shall be entertained. Decision of BIL/ its agency shall be final, binding and conclusive. No communication in this regards shall be entertained.
(iv) Prizes will be given subject to the winner satisfying the verification process of BIL.

(v) The Prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. In the event that the winner does not take the prize in the time and manner stipulated, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize. Prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.

(vi) Any unclaimed / unused prize is not-transferable, non-refundable and non-redeemable for other goods or services and cannot be taken in exchange for cash.

(vii) BIL shall provide the prize on an “as-is basis” and without any warranty or guarantee concerning the quality, suitability or comfort, and BIL and/or its associates, affiliates and/ or its management, directors, officers, agents, representatives shall not be responsible for or liable for deficiency and/ or defect of any product/service and/or the prize or for any kind of consequential damages/ loss, in any manner whatsoever.

(viii) The image of the prize depicted on the press ads/posters/pack shots/website/digital platforms etc. are for illustrative purposes only and the actual prize may vary from the depiction made.

(ix) BIL or its Agencies shall not be liable for any loss or damage of the prize due to Act of God, Governmental action, Force Majeure circumstances and / or any other reasons which are beyond the reasonable control of BIL / its Agency. Under no circumstances, BIL shall be liable to pay any compensation whatsoever for such losses.

(x) TDS applicable on Gold Coins will be borne by BIL.
(xi) Any participant of the contest who wins a prize during the Contest Period shall not be eligible to win any further prizes.
