LG Mallika-E-Kitchen Contest 2015 Season 7:

Terms & Conditions:

** The Contest is open to Indian Women having minimum age of 18 years and is a citizen of India & shall not be applicable to the employees, temporary employment agency, suppliers & the family members of the Organizer, its associate companies, its advertising & promotional agencies & its auditors & their associate companies (“Contestant”).

** Each contestant can fill only one registration form, which is available at retail outlets and branch offices. Those Consumers who buy any LG Microwave Oven from 15th Oct to 30th Nov 2015 (both days inclusive) are eligible to participate in this contest & the entries will not be entertained after 30th November 2015.

** Participant will have to buy LG Microwave oven in her name, in order to participate in this event. Besides this, she is also eligible to invite a friend/ relative to participate in this event. There would be special wild card entry directly in the Zonal round to the Winner of Digital Media MEK Contest.

** For participation, each contestant is required to submit only microwave oven cooked recipes & detailed written recipe. Recipe once filled in the form cannot be changed. Local round (1st round) event shall have Microwave pre-cooked recipes prepared and brought by the Contestants.

** Incomplete, Incorrect, False or illegible entries shall be rejected. Winners of different rounds may have to pay gift taxes as per prevailing government rules. Participant has to Submit Registration Form compulsorily & Invoice (If available) on the day of event of Local round. In case of failure to submit the invoice on the stipulated date, as mentioned above , they will have to submit the same within 15 days of the day of event of Local round , failing which she will not be entitled to the benefit of cash back, even if she qualifies for the same.

** The organizer reserves the right to accept or reject any Registration Form / Candidate at any stage. This is a talent contest and any participation in this is purely voluntary & discretionary. Winner of any previous round of LG Mallika-E-Kitchen Cooking contest 2009-2014 will not be eligible to participate in Mallika-E Kitchen 2015 contest. Dates & Venues of the events in various rounds will be announced separately and are subject to change.

** Contestants shall have to reach the local Round venue specified by organizer at their own expenses. There would be only one winner of each 1st round event and Winner’s of the all local Rounds conducted will get cash back, subject to a maximum of Rs. 10000 of their purchased MWO from LG, based on the invoice submitted by the respective participant after 15 days of winner announcement and after submission of all document as requested. Winners of the local round shall be entitled to participate in 2nd round i.e. Zonal Round. Zonal round will be a live cooking round.

** All participants in Zonal round shall be reimbursed fare equivalent to II Tier AC or III Tier AC Train fare (to & fro). All reimbursements by company will be only on providing all supporting documents. There would be 3 winners from each zonal round, and each shall get a chance to participate in Grand Finale. The participants of all grand finale shall be provided either II Tier AC Class Train tickets (to & fro) or economy class air tickets by the organizer. The Organizer will provide Hotel accommodation on twin sharing basis to contestants of 2nd & 3rd Round.

** Participants for 2nd and 3rd round residing in the same city as that of the event will not be eligible to get Travel/ Stay facilities from the organizer. The basic utensils to cook, for zonal and final round shall be provided by the organizer, one day prior to the event. However, the basic ingredients shall have to be brought by the participants on their own.

** If any participant is not able to compete in any Round due to any reason, she will not be able to compete further in the contest. All live cooking shall have to be finished within the given time. Any pre-cooking preparation, before the start of the event shall not be allowed. Winners will have to submit valid Identity (PAN Card) & Address Proof (Voter Card / Ration Card / Passport / Driving License, etc.) to claim the prize.

** Winner selection procedure/ criteria shall be intimated before each event .However Judges Decision will be the last & final. No correspondence/ communication shall be entertained in this regard. All the recipes submitted during the contest shall become the sole property of the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the right to use the participants and winner contest entries / picture taken in event for promotion and post coverage of the contest on all platform including social media .

** Prize is not transferable and no cash payment in lieu of the prizes will be made, except the cash back to the first round winners. All disputes relating to this Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at New Delhi only. The Organizer reserves the right to change/modify/or withdraw the Contest without any prior notice of the same at its sole discretion.

** Organizer shall not be liable for any complaints regarding the quality of the prize. For Photographs/ Recipe the contestants grant to the Organizer a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, print, display, reproduce, modify, publish, post, transmit and distribute the photographs/tweet. All the photographs /ideas /thoughts /—-submitted during tweets shall become the sole property of the Organizer and the Organizer shall be at liberty to use the tweets, advertisement or publicity without any further communication or consideration to the winner.

** The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual if it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest Competition or to be acting in violation of these Contest terms or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. It is hereby clarified that any participant using any unfair means of participation in any manner whatsoever including but not limited to using of any software programs shall be disqualified and not be eligible for any prize.

** Organizer, its agents and representatives, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies and legal advisors are not responsible for and will not be liable for (I) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties of any kind; (II) failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions; (III) any printing or typographical error in any material associated with the contest.

** Organizer shall not be responsible for any loss or damage, if it has to discontinue or cancel this Contest in compliance with any law, ruling, order, regulation, requirement or instruction of any Central/State Government, or for any other unavoidable reason beyond their control. Participants shall be informed of such discontinuance/cancellation as soon as possible.

** The Organizer reserves the right to award an alternative prize in exceptional circumstances to vary, amend or withdraw this competition on reasonable notice. The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual, if it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest Competition or to be acting in violation of these Contest terms or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

** The Released Parties are not responsible for any injuries, losses or damages of any kinds caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of a prize, or from participation in this Promotion. Note that insurance is not provided for the winners, and it is the winners’ sole responsibility for what may happen during the course of pursuing the promotion.

** Furthermore, except to the extent that any personal injury or death is caused by the Released Parties’ negligence or breach of these Official Rules and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law each entrant agrees that the Released Parties shall not be responsible for any claims, losses, liability, and damages of any kind asserted against any of them, incurred, sustained, or arising in connection with participation in this Promotion or the acceptance, the use or misuse of any prize including but not limited to, any injury, death, damage, loss, or accident to person or property, or from the respective entrant’s breach of these Official Rules or any agreement(s).

** By participating in this Contest, you agree that no claim shall be asserted against the Organizer, affiliates or any of their respective directors, officers, employees or agents in respect to any and all losses or injuries (including without limitation special, indirect or consequential losses), damages, rights, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever that result from your participation to this Promotion and/or your acceptance and enjoyment of the prize.

** Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that to the fullest extent permitted by laws, the Promotion Parties and Organizer have the right to seek damages or other remedies from any entrant, responsible for such attempt, if any attempt to deliberately undermine the operation of this Contest /Promotion.
