RSC Guwahati Robotic Competition

City Level Robotic Competition at RSC Guwahati on 20th January, 2018

It gives us immense pleasure to announce that we are going to organise a robotics event, “City Level Robotic Competition” on 20th January 2018, for the school going students in association with Technomate Edubotics pvt. ltd. Last date of registration is 10th January, 2018.

This event will give students a threshold for entering the Robotic World. In this context, we would like to invite the students from your School to participate in this event and get benefitted in the most positive way. The Competition is categorized into 2 groups- Junior category(Class V-VII) and Senior category(Class VIII-XII ).

Event Details:
Robotics events are incomplete without a line follower competition. A simple black line/ track on a white background on a Table of size around 8ft x 4ft and your robot must follow it. The challenge is to build an autonomous robot which is capable of following the line as fast as possible. The track has to be bends, curves, and breaks included.

Who Can Participate?

** Any Students studying in classes V to XII from any Educational Institute/ Science club.
** Participants must be nominated by their respective Educational Institute/ Science club.
** An Institute/ Club may nominate maximum 5 teams.

Robot Specifications

** The maximum permissible size of the Robot should be 25cm x 25cm x 25cm.
** Range of battery voltage within 5volt – 12 volt.

General Rules:
** A team may consist of a maximum of 2 members or single member.
** Black Line following Robot is only eligible.
** No manual control Robots are eligible. Robots must be fully automated black line follower.
** Participants can use Lego parts or Microcontroller board(arduino, avr etc.).
