#KolkataInSpotlight Contest 2015:
“#KolkataInSpotlight”, henceforth referred to as the “contest”, is hosted by ‘Motorola India’, a business unit of Motorola Mobility LLC. on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram. Any participation in this regard is voluntary.

A total of 10 passes are to be won in this contest and winners will be chosen across all 3 platforms. (A total of 5 winners will be declared and each person will win 2 passes to the Bacardi NH7 Weekender being held in Kolkata)

To participate in the contest, each participant needs to adhere to the following:-
Steps for participation:
1. Tell us what genre of music Kolkata loves the most and why.
2. Use of the hashtag ‘#KolkataInSpotlight’ is mandatory.
3. Make sure to tag Motorola India in your contest entry on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram.

Conditions for participation:
** The contest is open to all residents of India except the employees and the family members of the organizer, its associate companies, its advertising and promotional agencies and its auditors /executing agencies and their associate companies. Minors are not allowed to participate in this contest.
** There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this contest.
** Contest is open from 5.00 PM on 27th October to 11.59 PM on 28th October, 2015 on the official Motorola India Facebook accounts.
** After 28th October, no further entries for the contest will be permitted.
** All entries must be submitted on Motorola India’s Facebook/Twitter/Instagram page using #KolkataInSpotlight. Entries submitted through any other medium would not be considered for the contest.
** Motorola India reserves the right to use all assets (content/images) that are created with respect to this contest.
** The entries would be the intellectual property of Motorola India. The entries are meant to be used by Motorola India for promotional and display purposes, and also for any other use as may be deemed appropriate for the initiative.
** The entries must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
** The participant must be the same person writing the story. Entries found to be plagiarized and in violation of any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 will be disqualified, solely based on the discretion of Motorola India.
** Motorola India does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.
** Motorola India reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the contest and/ or the Terms & Conditions. However, any changes to the Terms & Conditions will be updated/ posted on various Motorola India platforms (Facebook & Twitter). It would be the responsibility of the participants to keep themselves informed as per any changes in the Terms & Conditions stated for this contest.
** No responsibility can be accepted by Motorola India for entries not received for whatsoever reason.
** All entries and/or submissions will not be returned to the participants, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
** Prizes given are non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash. No cash claim can be made in lieu of prize.

Evaluation Criteria:
** Entries will be judged on the basis of elements of creativity and communication of the theme in their stories around the theme “What kind of music does Kolkata love and why?”
** The decision of Motorola India would be final and binding on all the participants and no clarifications would be issued to any participants for any of the decisions
** Participants are allowed to make multiple submissions. However, each participant can only win one prize.

Responsibility and Disclaimers:
** At the time of entry and/or submission, the participants are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions of the contest.

** By participating in the contest, the participants and the Facebook/Twitter/Instagram users respectively agree that no claim shall be asserted against the organizer, its affiliates or any of its or their directors, officers, employees or agents in respect of any damage, rights, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever that may result from their participation in the contest and/or acceptance and enjoyment of the prizes.

** Any legal proceedings arising out of the competition/ its entries/ winners shall be subject to local jurisdiction of Delhi state. This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social network.

Miscellaneous:
** Any personal data provided by the participants will be used by the organizer for the purposes of: (a) verifying their identity; (b) administering the contest and evaluating the work; (c) contacting the participants for prize collection or otherwise in connection with the contest; and (e) achieving the intended results in connection with the transactions contemplated herein. Personal data will be provided voluntarily by the participants through the social network platforms.

** It is the organizer’s policy to protect the privacy of the participants and to respect their rights under all applicable privacy laws. Personal data collected by the organizer will not be sold, provided or transferred out of Motorola India. Personal data will not be provided to third parties for direct marketing or purposes unrelated to the contest without prior consent of the participant concerned.
