Auditions Period

The Auditions will commence from 21st January, 2018 and conclude on 18th February, 2018 (“Period”) (both dates inclusive).

Procedure To Register

a. The Company shall promote the registration for the Auditions through off-air promotions (hoardings, billboards, newspapers, posters, signage, leaflets, etc.) in the Territory, online and any other manner as the Company may deem fit, at its sole discretion, stating the mechanism in which the Contestant(s) can participate in the Program.
b. Registration process will be at the Audition Centre.

c. The Contestant(s) can get details of the Audition Centres in the following manner:

i. The Company shall promote participation in the Auditions/Program through off-air promotions (hoardings, billboards, newspapers, posters, signage, leaflets, etc. etc.) in the Territory, online and any other manner as the Company may deem fit, at its sole discretion, stating in brief the mechanism in which the Contestant(s) may participate in the Auditions and Program, Audition date, venue of Audition Centres and similar details.

The URL of the website containing complete information regarding the Auditions and the Program will also be shared a part of the promotions. As a part of the marketing strategy for promoting the Auditions and /or the Program on air, we may also conduct various contests in the Territory in respect of the Contest/Program for the prospective Contestant(s).

The interested Participants and natural/legal guardian of the Participant(s) (below the age of majority as per applicable laws in the Territory of which the Participant is a citizen of) may go through the details, eligibility criteria, date, venue and time of the on-ground Auditions in the Territory, etc. and be present at the respective Audition Centres on the designated date and time.

ii. Registration process will take place at the Audition Centre in Level 1 Auditions.

To register and to participate in the Auditions, the interested Contestant(s) shall (a) have a unique registration code provided to him /her at the Audition Centre (“ Registration Number”)

(b) fill and execute a registration form at the Audition Centre and duly submit all personal information as may be required to be submitted by them on the registration form in a manner and form, as requested and /or prescribed therein, (“ Registration Form”),

(c) submit necessary identity proving documentation at the respective Audition Centre. In case the said Contestant(s) is unable to furnish the original document(s) to verify the eligibility details and also submit self-affirmed photocopy of the same, the said Contestant(s) shall be disqualified by the Company.

The Auditions for the Auditions shall be conducted at the Audition Centre in the manner as detailed below:

Level 1

i. The Contestant(s) will be asked to sing and/ or perform any song of his/her choice in Hindi language in the presence of the Panel (defined below) (“Act”). This Act shall be evaluated by the Production House or its representatives and /or renowned singers/music composers/experts appointed by the Company and/or by the Production House, at their own discretion for each of the Levels of Auditions (“ Panel”).

ii. For avoidance of doubt it is clarified that the decision of the Panel shall be final in this regard.

iii. The top rated Acts shall be shortlisted at the discretion of the Panel for the next level.

iv. The Panel reserves the right to stop/interrupt the Contestant(s) during the Act or demand performance of more than 1 (one) Act, if required and the Contestant(s) shall have no objection to the same.

v. The Contestant(s) shall be evaluated and shortlisted by the Panel on the overall basis of his/her voice quality, singing calibre, choice of song, personality, etc. or any such other criteria determined by the Company at its sole discretion.

vi. Thereinafter on the same day, such shortlisted Participants shall once again perform an Act before the Panel which shall then rate the Participants on the basis of the quality of their performance, personality, technique, knowledge etc.

vii. Based on the aforementioned criteria and the evaluations of the various singing Acts by the Panel, the top rated Contestant(s) shall be shortlisted at the discretion of the Company and /or the Panel for the next level of Auditions LEVEL 2 to be conducted in the city of Mumbai in India and will be informed by the Company through an official email on the email ID shared by the respective Contestant(s) and/or the Company shall personally contact the respective Contestant(s) on the telephone number shared by them with the Company, as the case may be, giving brief details of the next level of audition – LEVEL 2, address of the Audition Centre in Mumbai, date and time of the Auditions, etc.

Level 2

i. Participant(s) and natural/legal guardian of the Participant(s) (below the age of majority as per applicable laws in the Territory of which the Participant is a citizen) shortlisted at Level 1 shall be required to be present in the Audition Centre in Mumbai to participate and perform in Level 2 Auditions located in Mumbai, India on specific dates and time as decided and communicated by the Company.. Such Contestant(s) shall be asked to perform an Act and be further interviewed by the Company and/ or Panel.

ii. The cost of travel and lodging of such Participant(s) shall be solely borne by Participant and natural/legal guardian of the Participant(s) (below the age of majority as per applicable laws in the Territory of which the Participant is a citizen).

If the Participant(s) fails to attend the Audition at the venue on the date and time as informed by the Company, the Entry of the Participant(s) will be deemed invalid and the Company shall be free to select any other deserving Participant at its own discretion.

iii. The Company reserves the right to introduce other prospective Contestant(s) from any country in India or outsides India in Level 2, who have gone through the similar selection process as the Contestant(s) from India. Such decision of the Company shall be final and binding upon all the Contestants.

iv. The Participant(s) and natural/legal guardian of the Participant(s) (below the age of majority as per applicable laws in the Territory of which the Participant is a citizen of) will be required to execute any and all legal documents as required by the Company including but not limited to submitting all the necessary documents in addition to the documents already submitted at Level 1 and also furnish the documents as sought and as required by the Company from time to time, to verify the Personal Information (defined below) provided by the Participant(s) in Level 1.

v. Further, the shortlisted Participant(s) shall be required to perform an Act before the Panel as per their requirements. The performance of these shortlisted Participant(s) shall be evaluated by the Panel on the basis of the stature of their voice quality, singing calibre, song selection, versatility, style, overall personality, etc. and such other criteria as may be determined by the Company in its sole discretion.

vi. The Company reserves the right to select any number of Contestant(s) from the Audition Center in Mumbai, India. The selected Contestants shall be eligible for the next level of selection; Level 3.

The Contestants shall be informed about their selection for the next round, i.e. the televised auditions by the Company and /or its representatives which shall be tentatively held in the city of Mumbai or such other city as may be decided/ communicated by the Company at its sole discretion.

vii. Such selected Contestant(s) shall be required to be present in or around Mumbai for the next level of selection on the day and time specified by the Company.

Level 3

i. Contestant(s) and parents/legal guardian of the Contestant(s) along with such Contestant(s) (below the age of majority as per applicable laws in the Territory of which the Participant is a citizen of) shortlisted at Level 2 shall be required to be present in Mumbai for the next level of selection on the day/days and time specified by the Company.

The cost of travel and lodging of such Contestant(s) shall be borne by the Company on actuals subject to the same falling within the fixed bracket decided by the Company at its sole discretion and communicated to the Contestant(s) and subject to the Contestant(s) providing the Company with actual receipts/documentation evidencing such expenses.

If the Contestant(s) fails to attend the Mumbai Audition at the venue on the date/dates and time as informed by the Company, the Entry of such Contestant(s) will be invalidated and the Company shall be free to select the next deserving Participant of its choice in place of such disqualified Participant.

ii. The Contestant(s) and parents/ legal guardian of the Contestant(s) along with such Contestant(s) (below the age of majority as per applicable laws in the Territory of which the Participant is a citizen of), will be required to register themselves by executing the necessary documents, in addition to those already provided and also by furnishing the documents as required to verify the Personal Details provided by the Contestant(s) in Level 1 or 2.

Each of the selected Contestant(s) shall be required to furnish the necessary documentation (as stated in the General Rules below) in original to confirm the eligibility details, personal identification, etc. provided by the said Contestant(s).

In case the said Contestant(s) is unable to furnish the original document(s) to verify the eligibility details and also submit self-affirmed photocopy of the same, the said Contestant(s) shall be disqualified by the Company.

iii. Level 3 will be held in Mumbai. The Contestant(s) shall be evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges who shall be judging the performance of Participants in the Program and /or forming part of the Program (“ Judges”) engaged by the Company at its sole discretion.

iv. The Judges will judge the Contestant(s) on the basis of the Acts performed in front of them.

v. The Judges shall rate these Acts on the basis of versatility, quality of singing, rhythm, performance, originality of style, confidence and overall personality.

vi. The Company shall select Show Player(s) from amongst the Contestant(s) selected for the Level 3. The selected Show Player(s) shall have to ensure that they will make themselves available for all shoot dates and travel to any place for the shoot of the Program, as may be informed by the Company from time to time.

vii. The selected Show Players will need to reside in any place in India decided by the Company at its sole discretion, during the shoot schedule of the Program.

viii. Upon successful completion of the contract and agreement with the Show Player(s) in relation to the arrangements for such Contestant(s) attendance at the Studio, the selected Show Player(s) must attend the Studio at the time and date communicated by the Company.

ix. In the event of the failure of any of the Show Player(s) from attending the Studio by the aforesaid time for any reason whatsoever the Company shall at its own discretion be entitled to exclude such Show Player(s) from the Show.

General Rules

1. The Audition is strictly open to Contestant (s) between the age of 5 (five) years and 70 (seventy) years, as of January 14, 2018 and must be a citizen of any of the jurisdictions included in the Territory during the Period of the Auditions and who is able to understand and converse in Hindi and English languages.

2. The Contestant(s) can participate in the Auditions either individually or in duos or in groups. For clarification it is stated that the performance of the Contestant(s) can be a solo performance or duo performance or a group performance.
