It welcomes the best dancers across the nation for a Battle of Dancers where the best one wins. It will definitely prove to be an icing on the cake!!!

We invite vibrant, lively and dynamic youngsters to spread their energy on-stage. The dances performance can be any dance style including folk, traditional and contemporary. So dancers who have significant spirit of dancing competition can join us.

Ghoomar Solo Dance Competition

Event Date/Time: 16th Feb 2018, 9:30 a.m. Onward
Venue: MIT ADT University, Main event venue (mainstage)

Rules & Regulations

** Participation is open to all
** Registration Last Date – Saturday, January 27, 2018
** Soundtrack time limit – 5- 8 min
** Final soundtracks should be kept ready at least a week prior (1st February 2018) the final event (Storage device: Pen drive)
** Usage of props and production material is allowed. These have to be brought by the participant themselves and won’t be provided by the University
** All participants should be dressed in decent attires
** Prize Distribution – Judges will select 1 winner and 1 runner-up who will be awarded with enthralling prizes
** Judges’ decisions are FINAL and cannot be APPEALED.

You will be judged according to the given criteria (Out of 50 points) :
** Costumes and presentation
** Facial expressions and body language
** Choreography
** Confidence
** Selection of the music piece

Prize Money

** First Prize- Rs. 3000/- + goodies;
** Second Prize- Rs. 1500/- + goodies

Trance Group Dance Contest

We invite vibrant, lively and dynamic youngsters in groups to spread their energy on-stage. The dances performance can be one of, or a mix of various genres including folk, traditional and contemporary styles.

Event Date/Time: 17th Feb 2018 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Venue: MIT ADT University, Main event venue (mainstage)

Rules & Regulations

** This is an inter-collegiate event, comprising of minimum 5 and maximum 16 members.
** The time limit of the performance will be 6+2 minutes from empty stage to empty stage
** Stage Specifications : stage area 20ft x 38ft(approx).
** All costumes and accessories have to be arranged by the participating team. Naked flames and live animals are not allowed.
** The participating teams are requested to ensure that their presentation is in keeping with dignity of the fest. The costumes must be decent and clothing should be at least upto knee-level or below.
** The teams should carry an official letter from their respective institutes signed by the competent authority, mentioning the name of participants.
** Participants should get their songs/music on a CD and a pen-drive. It is advised that they have a backup in CD. Team PersonaFest will not be responsible for this.
** Marks shall be deducted for exceeding the time limit (20% deducted for exceeding 8 minutes and team might be disqualified for exceeding 10 minutes based on judge’s discretion.
** Any props or other materials that have to be used will have to be managed by the participating team itself.
** The organizers will not provide any properties or materials.
** In case of malfunctioning of any equipment provided, the team will be allowed to repeat their performance from the beginning or from the point of disruption that the team wishes, with the consent of the judge.
** If the participating team does not show up at their allocated time then the team will be disqualified.
** In case of unavoidable circumstances please contact the organizers. The participation fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
** Decisions made by the organizers and judges will be binding and final.

** First Prize- Rs. 10000/- + goodies;
** Second Prize-Rs. 7000/- + goodies
