Economic Times Campus Stars Program
The Economic Times Campus Stars program (ETCS) is created to identify the brightest and smartest engineering students in India through a series of online and on-ground tests and assessments.

Who Can Participate?
Any student, currently in the third or fourth year of a four-year engineering course, from any AICTE approved engineering college in India can participate in the program. You also need to be an Indian citizen to be part of the program.
How To Participate ?
The participants need to register on www.etcampusstars.com and post registration needs to undertake a series of tests and assessments. The first two tests are online while the last two are offline. Basis the scores participants get in each phase, the list of the smartest and brightest engineers in the country would be created.
Participation Fee
There is no entry fee for participation in the Competition.
Program Duration
Program shall start from 8 November 2017 and will conclude on 28 March 2018 (“Program Period”). TIL reserves the right to extend or shorten or extend the Program Period at its sole discretion.
Program Details
a. Participants will be asked to furnish valid documentation supporting their registration details at various phases in the Program. Non-compliance will lead to disqualification.
b. Multiple entries by the same participant are not permitted.
c. The decision of the Evaluation Panel in Phases 3 & 4 will be final. No communication will be entered with, any person in relation to any decision of the panel or process.
d. TIL can verify participants by themselves or any third party at any stage of the Program.
e. TIL can mention the name, company of the participant through advertisements, editorial, Site as & when they deem fit.
f. ETCS may change the Terms and Conditions of participation at any time without prior notice. The amended Terms and Conditions of Entry will be effective
FAQs
1) Why should I participate in The Economic Times Campus Stars program?
The Economic Times Campus Stars program is first of its kind initiative in the country, where the smartest and brightest engineers in the country will get to be part of the coveted list. The participants also stand a chance to get awarded with attractive internship and PPI opportunities from top recruiters.
Please note, the internship and PPI opportunities are at the sole discretion of the participating companies. Participating in this initiative would help you identify your relative ranking amongst the engineering community in the country.
2) Can you please share the phase wise plan for The Economic Times Campus Stars program?
The phase wise test for the program would be as follows
Phase 1:
In this phase, the psychometric abilities of the participants would be judged. This phase can be taken online and would be an eliminative phase. The duration of the test in this phase would be ~30 minutes.
Phase 2:
In this phase, there would be two sets of online test; the first would assess the domain knowledge of the participants, the duration of which would be 30 minutes. The second set of test would be on the verbal etiquettes of the participants. The duration of the second test would be 15 minutes.
Phase 3:
In this phase, the participants would be assessed on their group dynamics, leadership, interpersonal skills and out of box thinking through series of on-ground assessment. This eliminative assessment would be conducted centrally and would take half a day. The candidates would also be assessed on general aptitude.
Phase 4:
In this phase, the shortlisted participants get to meet the top CXOs in the country who would be assessing them.
3) Who will evaluate the participants in this program?
Phase 1 and phase 2 are online tests where each participant will be evaluated based on their aptitude and domain knowledge, along with speaking abilities. AMCAT is our evaluation partner for phase 1 and phase 2.
A panel of experts from The Economic Times will evaluate group dynamics, leadership, interpersonal skills and out of box thinking of the students during phase 3 of the program. In phase 4 of the program, the shortlisted candidates would get to meet the Jury which would consist of top CXOs of India Inc.
The final list of The Economic Times Campus Stars will be created basis the recommendations of the Economic Times Campus Stars Jury.
4) Am I allowed to take the test multiple times?
No, one can appear in the test only one time and must adhere to complete it in a single go. In case of any technical difficulty or time constraint – you must contact us at etcs@etcampusstars.com.
5) What if my test stops in between?
If your test stops in between, please take a screenshot and email us at etcs@economictimes.com. You can retake the test and it would start from where you left off.
6) How can I prepare for The Economic Times Campus Stars?
Ideally, there is no preparation required to be a Campus Star. We have also uploaded some preparatory material in the Learning Center section of the website.
