GREEN Olympiad Junior 2015:

The GREEN Olympiad “Junior” is India’s first annual examination on environmental issues for Junior school students.

The examination is designed innovatively to test the knowledge of students and also educate and sensitize them in the process.

Who all are eligible to sit participate for Green Olympiad “Junior”?:
Students of class IV and V enrolled in a school affiliated to recognized educational board or trust are eligible to appear for Green Olympiad Junior. Private coaching institute and similar entities are not allowed to participate. Individual registration from students is not accepted.

If I already have appeared in the GREEN Olympiad in the past, can I enter again?:
As long as you are a student in class IV and V you may enter the contest each year.

Is the Green Olympiad conducted in English only?:
Yes.

What is the syllabus for the Green Olympiad Junior?:
This examination is designed to check the environment quotient of the students. We keep in mind the EVS syllabus of the schools while preparing the question paper.

I am not an Indian citizen nor do I reside in India, am I eligible for GREEN Olympiad “Junior”?:
Yes, you are eligible for the GREEN Olympiad Junior, as it is open to foreign national as well.

Is there a lower/upper limit to the number of nominations from a school?:
A school can nominate as many students as it wishes. There is no upper limit to the number of nominations from a school. However, a minimum of 20 students per school is required for registration and for school to be a center.

What is the procedure for registration?:
Schools can register for this examination through the registration form. You can write to us for the form/or download it from the GREEN Olympiad website.

All participants will receive ‘Certificates of participation’. Merit and distinction certificates are also given to top performers
