Logo Design Competition For Jalandhar Smart City :
Municipal Corporation of Jalandhar as a part of its Smart City Mission through Ministry of Urban Development has initiated the work to create a healthy and vibrant city through citizen participation. Citizen consultations are showing encouraging signs to recreate Jalandhar City’s image a sports hub & upgrade allied sports industry.

In an endeavor to create the city image based upon its inherent strengths and the citizen aspiration for smart city, Municipal Corporation of Jalandhar has decided to coin a logo for Jalandhar city.

To tap the creativity of young minds, Municipal Corporation Jalandhar announces an open competition to design the Logo and Byeline for Jalandhar City

Creation of Logo and Byline- A Logo & Byline for Jalandhar City is to be created which should be dynamic, vibrant and reflect the spirit & aspirations of the citizens. Submission of LOGO should be in the size of 4x4cm with minimum 200 pixel. The Byline can be both in Hindi and English.

Award:
Top selected entry will be awarded with a prize of Rs. 25,000/- (By ECS/ Cheque).
Next five selected entries will be awarded with a prize of Rs. 5,000/-. (By ECS/Cheque)

Last date to submit your entries is : 15th November, 2015 at MyGov portal.

Terms and Conditions :
1) Participants must be above 18 years of age.
2) Participants must be Citizens of India.
3) All the submissions will be considered as a complete submission and to be eligible for shortlisting.
4) The participants(s) entries will be judged on merit.
5) Government of India (Gol) will have the copyright on all the entries submitted. By submitting an entry, the Participant(s) agree(s) to transfer the intellectual property rights to Gol.
6) The Participant(s) represent(s) and warrant(s) that he/ she will comply with all applicable Indian laws. The Participant(s) shall not disclose and/or use any information, if doing so is in violation of an obligation of antitrust law and/ or confidentiality.
7) Concerned Authority reserves the right to reject any entry based on its discretion.
8) By registering for participation in the Contest, the Participant(s) warrant that they have complied with these Entry conditions.
9) Their entry is original; their entry does not infringe any Intellectual Property Rights of any third party.
10) Any current employer and/or learning institution that the participant is employed by or enrolled with would have no claim on the entry developed and submitted.
11) Participants must not provide any false information in the registration process.
12) Participants must keep their contact information accurate and up-to-date.
13) Concerned Authority reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the competition and/ or the rules without notice for any event that is within the reasonable control of Concerned Authority.
14) Any changes to the rules, or cancellation of the competition, will be posted on the Contest page on MyGov portal. It is the responsibility of the participants to keep themselves informed as to any changes to the rules.
15) Concerned Authority accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss or injury of any kind suffered by any participant in entering the Competition, including as a result of any participant winning or not winning any prize.
16) Concerned Authority will not be held responsible if the participants / teams are not able to upload their entries on MyGov portal before the last date & time of submission for any reason whatsoever. 17) All prizes are non-transferable.
