MIT Mega Jamm Music Band Contest

Pune is evolving as a musical hub with numerous talents waiting to be exposed! This event invites teams from any college or semi-professional bands from India that plays music of genres like rock, metal, western, Carnatic, fusion.

The teams may perform with a combination of instruments of their choice.
Event Date/Time : 15th Feb 2018, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Rules & Regulations

** The time limit for the performance, including the sound check, is 17 minutes.
** Registration Last Date February 07, 2018
** Equipment provided will be
a) one bass amplifier speaker,
b) one lead amplifier speaker,
c) adequate microphones,
d) drum set.
** Bands will be disqualified on the spot for misconduct, obscenity or foul language and will be banned from performing at all subsequent editions of PersonaFest.
** Marks will be deducted for exceeding time limit.
** Bands have to bring their own musical instruments and special effects. Programmed music is not allowed.
** PersonaFest will not be held responsible for the failure of any instrument.
** PersonaFest reserves the right to make any last minute change in the rules.

** In case your performance is interrupted due to any commotion caused in the performance area or any audio/light related problem then the team will be allowed to restart or continue the performance based on their preference and the judge’s discretion.

** Due to any unforeseeable event, if the participating team has to stop their performance, any one of the team members can signal a person from the organizing team. Restarting, continuing or terminating the performance will then be by the judge’s discretion.
** Decisions made by the organizers and judges will be binding and final.

Prize Money

1. First Prize- Rs. 12000/- + goodies;
2. Second Prize- Rs. 8000/- + goodies

Registration Fee

** Rs. 100/- per student per event
** Rs. 500/- per student for 5 to 8 event
** Rs. 1500/- per student for event T9 :Autodrift
** Mode of payment Cash Only
** Event A12 and D1 open for all (no registration fee)
** All participants for Team / Individual Event should do the Registration
