Open Page Inter- School Reading Competition
SVS English School, Ahmedabad invites you for ‘Inter- School Reading Competition’ in collaboration with ‘The Open Page”, Educational Newspaper, which will be held at SVS English School on 25th February 2018 Sunday. The competition is for classes Sr.KG to 6.

Important Dates
Last Date of registration is 17th February, 2018. (Saturday)
Note : Parents should drop the children at 8:45 am and come to pickup at 11:30 am
Programme Details
The details of the programme are as under :
** Reporting time at SVS English School- 8:45 a.m.
** Commencement of the competition- 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Please do not be late.
** Valedictory Function- 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m
** Timings for the competition will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 noon.
Rules & Regulations
Rules and regulations of the competition are :
** Only 20 entries per grade will be taken. So HURRY UP
** Schools can send only 2 participants per grade. Schools are requested to send an educator
** Admit Card (ID card) of your school is compulsory
** Reading material will be provided by SVS School.
** Grading scale – Diction, clarity, voice modulation, punctuation & pauses.
** No registration fee.

The Open Page got its name from a competition arranged in the year 1999-2000, and the winner was Sahdevsinh Jadeja a student of T.D.S.
It started with a purpose to help the learner develop creative writing and inculcate the habit of reading and own a medium of its own. A medium where the educators & students can voice their opinion, pen their researches and experiences as well as happenings around the globe.
