Registration Requirements for Competition

First time participants :
Step 1 – Sign-up on WCA
Step 2 – Register for the competition
Step 3 – Pay according to the procedure mentioned in the registrations&payments tab.

Returning participants :
Step 1 – Sign-in using your email that you used for your previous competitions
Step 2 – Register for the competition.
Step 3 – Pay according to the procedure mentioned in the registrations & payments tab.

Fee Structure

1-2 Events : 300/-
3-5 Events : 500/-
6-9 Events : 700/-
10-12 Events : 800/-

Steps for Online Payment :
1.Buy the competition ticket from here.
2.Once the website confirms your payment your WCA registration will be accepted within 2 business days.
3.Don’t forget to register(click here) before you purchase your ticket.
4.Registration fees are by all means non-negotiable, non-refundable and stipulated as per the timelines.

Note:
1) It is mandatory to pay the registration fees and also register on WCA to complete the full registration process.
2) It may take a day or 2 for your name to reflect on competitors list on WCA.
3) No physical ticket will be shipped.
4) Registration fee is not refundable.

Note for On the Spot registration:
For DAY 1: OTS registration open for all events.
For DAY 2: OTS registration open ONLY for 3×3.

FAQs

Q: Do I use my own cube to compete?
A: YES! You are responsible for your own hardware in order to compete. This means you should bring your own cube.

Q: What is the normal age of competitors at these events?
A: All ages are welcome, but in general competitors are between 8 and 20 years old. Don’t let this stop you though, everyone can and should cube! In previous competitions participants who were just 5 years of age also solved the cubes.

Q: How do I find results?
A: All results are posted on the WCA page within a week after the competition finishes. However, for the day of competing, go to Cubecomps.com to find information about current events. This is also where you will find information about upcoming rounds of events. Remember, the results are entered by a human so please be patient if you do not see your results immediately.

Q: Are there age divisions?
A: Nope! All competitors compete together.

Q: I want to attend, or I have friends/family who want to attend, but not compete. Do they need to pay as well?
A: No. All spectators are free to view the competition at no cost. There is payment only to compete. But in some cases, venue will be having restriction to allow spectators depending on the competition.

Q: Can I have fun at this event?
A: HECK YES! Cubing is amazing, and we sincerely hope you enjoy the competition!
