DMRC Story & Slogan Writing Competition

A substantial percentage of Delhi Metro’s commuters comprises of Women who form an integral part of the System. Delhi Metro has always strived to provide a safe, comfortable and hassle – free journey to all its Women Commuters in the form of reserved seats in each coach and a separate Ladies’ coach.

Women commuters of Delhi Metro represent the empowered woman of today, who is independent, smart, a multi-tasker and a go getter.

They are an unstoppable force who are achieving new heights and setting new standards for the society. They come from all walks of life. They are students who are dreaming of carving their place in the world, they are working women who are juggling both home and careers and they are housewives who are managing their households efficiently.

The Delhi Metro and the Modern Day Woman are two sides of the same coin. The Metro System is synonymous with growth, development, efficiency and perfection which are the attributes of today’s progressive woman. The constant effort to achieve new heights in their respective spheres connects Delhi Metro with its Women Commuters.

In order to salute and celebrate the spirit of these amazing women, Delhi Metro has organized an ‘Story Writing & Slogan Writing Competition’. Entries will be accepted till 5th March 2018 (midnight).

The selected entries will be suitably awarded in a function on 8 th March 2018 on the occasion of International Women’s Day at Delhi Metro’s Corporate Office – Metro Bhawan, Fire Brigade Lane, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi -110001.
