Miss Personality Mega Contest 2015:

1. Participants age should be minimum 16 years to 23 years .Maximum age should be relaxable by 3 years
2. Registration fees should be Rs 500 / in favour of “Asian Institute of Nursing Education” J.B Complex, R.G Baruah Road, Ganeshguri, Guwahati – 781005.
3. Photograph one full size along with one passport size photograph

Competition Last Date 10th December 2015

4. Medical Certificates stating optimum health status
5. Selection of the contestants will be based on the penal decision ,Telephonic Interview may be conducted if required.
6. Incomplete bio data and Information will be rejected.
7. Selected contestants will be provided special training on grooming and personality development by Professionals

Essay Writing, Quiz and Extempore : AINE
Salad Competition : AINE Hostel

Types Of Event :

1.Quiz
2. Essay Writing Competition
3.Sports
4.Salad Making Competition
5. Extempore

Note:
All the contestant has to undergo all the events sequentially.

Rules and Regulation of each events as mentioned below Quiz competition:

1. Each round consist of sets of questions.
2. Each question carry 10 points and pass questions will have 5 points.
3. Passing of question is allowed only to the next immediate team,if the team fails to answer correctly, then question will be passed to the audience.
4. No negative scoring
5. Total time is 30 sec for each direct question and 5 sec for the pass question.
6. No grumbling, prompting is allowed.
7. The quiz master is final.

Essay Writing:

1.The essay must be the original work of the writer
2. The essay must be restricted to 500 – 600 words
3. The selected Judges shall be the sole authority to select the prize winning essay.
4. Duration of the competition is 1 hour.
5.Topic for the essay will be announced two days prior to the competition.
6. Pen and papers will be provided by the organizer.
7. Content of the essay shall have Introduction, Body and Conclusion.
8. Evaluation criteria for the competition : Total Score : 50
Originality : 10, Clarity : 10 ,Structure : 20, Overall Impression : 10 , Total 100.

Extempore :

1.English should be the language of communication.
2.Time allotted is 3 minutes, 2 minutes for speaking and 1 minute for preaparation.
3. A warning bell will be given at the end of the 1 minute during speaking.
4. Speech note not to used by the contestant while presenting his / her speech.
5. Participant must carry their own pens and paper.
6. Decision of Judges will be considered final.
7. Discipline is of prime importance.
8. Contestant will not be allowed to refer to any materials ( books, electronic gadget ) after receiving the topic.
9. Dress code : modest casual wear

Sports : (Dress code : Track pant and white T.shirt)

1) 100 meter race
1.Participant must run in a straight line as fast as possible to cross the finish line
2. The start of the race is signal by whistle at which time all runners begin to sprint towards the end of the track
3.After one false start, the runners have to returned to the starting position and will be asked to begin again.
4. If any of the runner make 2 false start, they will be disqualified from the race.
5. The runners must run within the mark lane throughout the race.
6. Anyone leaving their lane will be disqualified.
7. The first runner whose Torso crosses over the finish line is the winner.
8. Crossing the line, with the head, arms, legs or feet before another runner crosses with her torso will not be considered as a winner.

Badminton:

1. Before they begin a toss will be conducted and the winning side will decide whether to either serve/ receive first or start/ play on one side or the other.
2. A match is in a best of 3 games format with each game played to 21 points.
3. Service is awarded to the side that won the last rally.
4. The side running a game, serves first for the next game.
5. At the start of each game, service will begin from the right service court.
6. The receiver must be inside the correct service box before service is taken.
7. During play, a fault occurs if a player touches the net or poles with the racket, person or dress.
8. Serving should be done from the right side when the score is even and from the left when the score is odd.

Chess:

1. The player with the black pieces will initiate their opponent timer at the start of the game. Thus the player with the white pieces will have their timer running first, and will make the first move.
2. The movement of the pieces is to be done with one hand, once the hand is taken off a
piece after moving it, the move cannot be retracted unless the move is illegal.
3. Once the game has started, only the player with the move can touch the pieces on the board.
4. Each player must make his moves within the time control.
5. Players should not use any notes, outside sources of information or advice from other people.
6. Players should shake hands before and after the game. Player should not speak during the game, except to offer a draw, resign or to call attention to an irregularity.
