Grihalakshmirihalakshmi has instituted the annual pageant “Grihalakshmi Mrs Kerala” to honour the true spirit of married Kerala women and to redefine the common yardsticks of beauty.

The Pageant is a property of Mathrubhumi Printing and Publishing Co. Ltd Hereinafter referred to as “the Organizers”.

Who Can Participate?

** The Contestant must be a female.
** The contestant’s age must be between the age of 21 to 40 years of age (as on June 30 2018) to participate in the pageant.
** Contestant must be Married.
** Judicially separated woman or a divorced woman or a widow can also be considered for the contest
** The Contestant must be an Indian national which status must proven by necessary Identity cards of the government of India.
** Contestant should be of Kerala origin.

Contest Terms

** The Contestant must not be an accused in a civil or criminal case or have been convicted of any civil or criminal act.
** The Contestant shall fully disclose details of any prior or current criminal cases pending against her at the time of the application.
** Suppressing such information would tantamount to disqualification and debarment from the pageant.
** The decision of the Organizers will be final and binding on the contestant, her family and team members.
** All travel expenses of the contestant and her friends/family accompanying her for the audition and grand finale of the pageant will be borne by the contestant.
** The Contestant should respect other contestants and abide by the format conceived by the organizers of the pageant.
** The decision of the organizers in this regard will be final and binding on the contestant.
** The contestant shall not encourage in any form, by her appearance or through speech or actions, any anti-social or immoral activities that includes female Infanticide, dowry etc.
** The Contestant should understand that all official Sash, Crowns and Trophies are properties of the organizers of the pageant.
** The Organisers hold all legal rights to recall at any time, Titles, Sub Titles, Crowns, Sash, Trophies, prior, during or after the pageant if the holder is found to have withheld any required information and violated rules laid by the Organizers of the pageant.
