CENTA presents the fourth edition of Teaching Professionals’ Olympiad (TPO) 2018! CENTA Teaching Professionals’ Olympiad (TPO) is a one-of- its-kind national competition for teachers in India and in UAE.

Eligibility

CENTA Teaching Professionals’ Olympiad (TPO) 2018 is open to everyone who has completed a graduation degree in any field, or alternately, a diploma in education, to participate in the TPO.

How To Register?

Follow the simple steps mentioned below to register for TPO 2019.

Steps:
Step-1 : Go to the link https://centa.org/
Step-2 : Enter your personal details like Name, Gender, Email ID and Mobile Number.
Step-3 : Create/Generate a secure password
Step-4 : Select your Occupation, Country, Residence and City.
Step-5 : Select your test track and time slot
Step-6 : Enter referral code (if any) and then select your Payment Mode.
Step-7 : Finally submit the ‘Save’ button.

Registration Fee

INR 590 (including GST).Use referral code JIO for 10% discount.

Exam Details

Format

** Two-hour, multiple choice test, only one correct answer, no negative marking.
** Competencies tested are based on the CENTA Standards. Only a sub-set of competencies are tested as explained in the Syllabus document.
** Computer-based but with a very simple interface – knowledge of computers is not required.
** Four sections, totally 64 questions, 100 marks, no section-wise time limit, questions can be attempted in any order

Subjects

** 21 subject track options in TPO 2018
** A candidate can participate in more than one subject track (maximum of 3).

Syllabus

TPO tests a subset of competencies from the CENTA Standards,

** For subject-specific questions, common topics from the NCERT syllabus are used, though the testing itself is applicable for all boards (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, IB, IGCSE, etc.) and focuses mainly on conceptual understanding and application of the topics.
** For questions related to teaching practices, the focus is on understanding and application of common techniques, and several situation-based questions are used to make the test practice-oriented.

Each Reliance Foundation Teacher Award will include a cash prize (see below) and citation.

National and Subject Toppers:
** National Ranks 1 to 5 Rs 1 lakh each
** All Subject Toppers Rs 25,000 each
** National Ranks 6 to 10 Rs 25,000 each
** National Ranks 11 to 100 Rs 5,000 each
** National Ranks up to 500, Subject Ranks up to 50 or State Ranks up to 10 Rs 2000 each

Regional and Test City Toppers:
** All Regional Toppers (the Topper of every State or Union Territory – subject to a minimum participation number) Rs 10,000 each
** All Test City Toppers (the Topper of each 48 test cities) Rs 5,000 each

Special Cash Prizes for B.Ed. students:
** Rank 1 Rs 1 lakh
** Ranks 2 and 3 Rs 25,000 each
** Ranks 4 to 30 Rs 10,000 each
