Deptt of Technical Education Govt. of Uttar Pradesh announces National Design Competition on Low Cost Housing Models for Urban & Rural Areas in Uttar Pradesh

National Seminar on “Low Cost Housing” on November 26, 2015

Focus on low-cost housing related topics like low-cost materials, design, plans, construction techniques, construction machinery, provision of basic amenities, optimum space utilization, energy efficiency, use of renewable energy, IS/NBC provisions, with a special attention to issues/challenges faced in various regions of the State.

Professionals, academicians, builders, contractors, field engineers, architects, researchers associated with construction industry and groups thereof can participate in the Design Competition. It is desirable that the participant associates students of Engineering and Architecture colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

The entries will be evaluated by a jury duly constituted by State Govt and weightage will be given to innovative solutions for various regions of the State as well as mode and extent of involvement of the students.

Awards : (In Urban and Rural category each)

1st Prize : Rs. 5 Lakh
2nd Prize : Rs. 3 Lakh
3rd Prize : Rs. 2 Lakh
