My STEM Time Teacher’s Contest

If you are teacher with passion for STEM, you can be a part of the monthly online STEM competition for teachers.

You simply need to upload the videos on this portal by explaining a specific STEM concept.

For this purpose, you can use:
** Professional STEM kits
** Household items
** DIY kits
** Electronic kits and microcontrollers

We also accept videos that revolve a STEM project. For example, a video showcasing a model that can solve an environmental issue. The best STEM videos of the month will be eligible for the cash prizes.

How To Participate?

Anyone who’s into teaching profession can be a part of this contest. You simply have to register yourself on My STEM Time and upload at least one video in the current month to participate. There isn’t any registration charge for participation. You can upload as many videos as you want.

Contest Dates

The Online STEM Contest: Teacher’s Edition commences on 1st day of every month and concludes by the month end. This means videos uploaded by a trainer in a particular month will be evaluated for contest of the current month.

Judging Criteria

Evaluation of participating teachers will be based on the following criteria

** Number of Views/Comments/Star ratings (15%)
** Number of Videos submitted by the teacher and their students along with new student/teacher registrations on My Stem Time portal (20%)
** Conceptualization& Implementation, along with Description & Presentation (35%)
** Quality of the Video (15%)
** Use of latest Technology/Kit (15%)

Prizes

The judges will declare three winners every month after analyzing all the entries.

The winners will receive following prizes:
** 1st Prize – Rs. 15,000
** 2nd Prize – Rs. 10,000
** 3rd Prize – Rs. 5,000

Apart from these cash prizes, the teachers can also win My STEM Time goodies for their videos.

Kits And Resources For The Videos:
There are plenty of STEM kits and toys available in the market. You can use one or more kits for this purpose. You can go through the ‘Products’ section of this website to get an idea of the commonly used products for the videos.

In case the product you are using isn’t in the list, send us an email at info@mystemtime.com to add the same in our database.

The household items can also be used if they are relevant to the concept you plan to explain.

Other Contest Rules

** The videos uploaded by the teacher in the previous month won’t be counted by the judges for evaluation in the current month.
** The videos showcasing students instead of teachers will be rejected.
** There is no restriction on how many times you can participate. A winner of a particular month can again participate in the contest by uploading the videos in the next month.
