National Geographic Science of Stupid Contest
NGC Network (India) Private Limited is organising a contest named as “Science of Stupid Contest”.

Contest Period
Contest begins on or about February 18, 2019 at 12:00 hours, Indian Standard Time and ends on March 30, 2019 at 23:00 hours.
Eligibility
Entry to the Contest is open to anyone who is:
a. a citizen of India.
b. a resident of India and
c. has attained the age of 13 years.
How To Participate?
Entrants shall participate via Facebook in the following manner,
A. On Mobile – Open Facebook Messenger: Search for National Geographic India and click on Get Started to begin the Science of Stupid Quiz
B. On Desktop – Open the National Geographic India Facebook Page, click on Send Message or the Facebook Messenger Icon to open the chat window. Once it is open, click on Get Started to begin the Science of Stupid Quiz
C. Entrants are required to follow the National Geographic India Facebook page.
Prize
To claim the prize, the Winner would need to share any details that may be required by NGC including details to authenticate the social media account through which the winner has submitted its Entry.
Daily Prize:
a. The Daily Prize consists of National Geographic branded merchandise in the form of: 1. NatGeo canvas bag, NatGeo Planet or Plastic sipper bottle, NatGeo reusable straw, NatGeo bamboo toothbrush and NatGeo Planet or Plastic tote bag (“Daily Prize”).
Grand Prize:
a. The Grand Prize consists of all-expenses paid National Geographic Expedition – inclusive of flight tickets from Delhi/Mumbai in India to the Expedition destination, full payment of Expedition
Winners Announcement
1. Daily Contest:
a. Upon the receipt of the Entries, a Daily Prize winner shall be selected and rewarded on the basis of the first correct answer to the Daily question on the chatbot.
2. Grand Prize:
a. The Grand Prize Entrant will have to have answered all 30 or maximum questions correctly on in order to qualify for prize consideration. A judging committee formed by NGC (“Committee”), shall in its sole discretion evaluate the Entries and choose a Winner.
b. The winner shall be announced on or before 15th April 2019.

General Terms
1. By entering into the Contest.
a. You acknowledge that You have read and understood these Terms which include inter alia, information on how to enter, how the Winner will be determined, the Prize, and how personal data will be collected, retained, used and shared;
b. You expressly agree to be bound by the Terms, including in particular those relating to the collection, retention, use and sharing of personal Data; and
c. You confirm that You will not breach any law or violate any third party rights by entering the Contest.
2. NGC will not be responsible for any Entrant entering the Contest unlawfully or otherwise in breach of local laws. You are advised to check or seek advice on your local laws before entering the Contest; NGC shall not be liable for the same.
3. NGC shall not be liable in any way for any failure or breach by any party in connection with the Contest and accepts no responsibility for any loss suffered by an Entrant arising from the Contest.
4. Entrants should make sure that their acts in any manner, whatsoever should not hurt any religious sentiments, any community or people from a targeted geographical location and should not violate any person’s rights.
