Global Economics Olympiad is the Olympiad for the students of classes 9th to 12th to excel in the field of Economics. Given the rising popularity of Economics as a subject, the Global Economics Olympiad is an attempt to tap the unutilized potential of young minds in this field and discover the economist in them at the school level.

Round 1 – School Round

Date – To be opted by school authorities from 1st September – 15th November 2019
Venue – School Premises
Duration – 45 mins
Pattern – MCQ Based
Preparatory Material – CBSE, ICSE/ISC and State Board syllabus is followed for setting the test papers.
Certifications – Participation Certificate & Complete OMR Assessment Report

Round 2 – Regional Round

Date – To be decided as per consent of all the qualifying schools in the month of December
Venue – Will be in your state (Exact Venue to be confirmed later to the qualified schools)
Duration – 90 mins
Pattern – MCQ Based + Audio-Visual Rounds
Preparatory Material –Same as School Round
Certifications – Certificate for qualifying school round + Class toppers from the regional round to be awarded with cash prize of INR 1,500 each and additional INR 5,000 if scored highest at national level + Certificates

Round 3 – Grand Finale

Date – Will be finalized later as per consent of winning schools from January – February 2020
Venue – New Delhi (Travelling & Accommodation expenses will be borne by IFO Association for the qualifying students)
Duration – 150 mins
Pattern – On stage oral quiz
Preparatory Material – Same as School Round
Certifications – Chance to win cash scholarships upto 1.6 lakhs + Certifications + Trophy & Mementoes
