SBI Numero Yono Quiz Contest

SBI Numero Yono – the quiz contest, is organised and the sole initiative by State Bank of India

Contest Phases

The Contest consist of two phases

Phase 1: Regional round – will be conducted in 17 cities, consisting of preliminary rounds with eliminations, whereby one team from each region will be selected for the Semi Finals in Mumbai. A total of 17 (seventeen) semi-finalist from each region, will be chosen.

Phase 2: From all semi-finalist based on the elimination process, 04 (four) teams, each representing one zone, shall qualify for the Finals. The semi-finals and finals shall be held in Mumbai.

Contest Period

** Phase 1 of the Contest is open for a period of 11 (eleven) days from 24th February 2020 to 5th March 2020.

** Phase 2 i.e. semi-finals and finals in Mumbai at SBI auditorium is currently scheduled to be held on 16th & 17th March 2020. SBI reserves the right to change/alter/modify/extend the dates as per its sole discretion.

Participation

** In order to participate, teams should be constituted as per the eligibility criteria set out below
** During the Phase 1, Teams to register themselves on www.sbinumeroyono.com giving all the necessary details as requested and accepting the terms and conditions of the Contest
** True and correct information needs to be provided by each Team.

Eligibility

** The Contest shall be open for participation as per the timelines specified in the T&C’s.
** Entry and Registration is free and is open to residents of India only.
** Students participating in the Contest must be between the age group 18 to 30 years. (30 years on or before 1st January 2020).
** Each Participant is required to have a valid and subsisting medical and travel insurance coverage.
** Participants enrolling shall be eligible only if they are a college student studying in a full time UG/PG course and hold a valid college/university issued identity card.
** The college should be recognized by AICTE/UGC.
** Students enrolled with open universities or professional courses (like CA; CS etc) or not recognised colleges are not permitted to participate.
** Students participating shall form a team of 03 (three). All 03 (three) students in a team must be from the same college.
** They can be from different streams.
** They must carry their valid college Identification Card (which clearly contains photo and mentions their date of birth).
** A student cannot participate in more than one team.
** Multiple teams from the same college is permitted.
** Every team needs to have one Team Leader whose contact details shall be used to communicate all details for registration, reporting time at the quiz venue along with further necessary communication.

Pre-Registration Process

** Teams can register on www.sbinumeroyono.com . Pre-registration is mandatory for any participation.
** The registration site will be available for completion of the registration process before the commencement of Phase 1 as applicable for each region.
** Participants are requested to visit the website as per the scheduled Contest date for the region to ensure their teams are registered.
** The number of participants from each region is limited. In case the maximum number of eligible participants in a region has been achieved, then no further registration shall be permitted.
** The teams eligible shall be considered on a first come – first serve basis.
** The registration window shall close 24 hrs prior to the Contest for the region or if the limited seats have been achieved, whichever is earlier.

How To Register?

** Teams participating must log on to the registration website www.sbinumeroyono.com
** The registration site will be active for the respective regions as applicable, from time to time.
** Once the participants submits the necessary information and registers the Term, it will be assumed that the participants has read, understood and agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the Contest.
** Participant must click on the “Register Now” button which shall redirect them to a detailed information page where they must enter their details

The details shall have the following fields which must be entered as follows:
** State of the college
** District of the college
** Name of Applicant 1
** Name of Applicant 2
** Name of Applicant 3
** A tick box option shall be provided next to the names, the team leader shall identify himself by selecting the check box
** Email Id
** Contact Number

The participants post entering the details must click on the dialog box accepting the Terms & Conditions and then click on Submit to finish the registration process Once the participant clicks on Submit, a Unique Team Code will flash on the screen and the details shall also be sent through an SMS and/ or email.

Registration Process

** Teams shall be notified on the contact details provided during the registration process, with the time and venue of the location for the preliminary rounds.
** A verification process shall be conducted by SBI and/or its agents or representatives where in the Team Unique Code and participant id’s (i.e. college and official valid document should be made available at the registration counter.
** Once the authentication/verification is completed; the teams will be directed towards the auditorium for the elimination round/s.

Regional Round

All regional round will consist of of two rounds

Round 1: Digital elimination round which will be conducted at the quiz venue
Round 2: Onstage Live Quiz Round

Semi Finals & Finals

** 17 (seventeen) teams, 1 (one) team from each region will be brought down to Mumbai for a semi-final and final round.
** For Semi Finals, teams will be divided into zones (North, East, West & South)
** The Semi-finals will be a live onstage quiz contest where formats shall be a combination of buzzer rounds based on clockwise, anti-clockwise, fastest round and acrostic rounds
** 04 (four) teams will be identified to represent their zone from the Semi-finals who will then proceed to the Final round of the Contest
** From the 04 teams competing in the National Final round, one team shall be announced as a winner.

Results & Prizes

** Participation digital certificates will be provided to each participant over the email id of the Team Leader provided
** Participation gift will be provided on ground for all team members
** Audience participation gifts at regional round, semi-final and finals will be provided

For top 3 teams at Regional level – Scholarship and trophies shall be rewarded:
First : Scholarship Prize Rs 6,000 x 3 (members) x 12 (months) = Rs 2,16,000/-
Second : Scholarship Prize Rs 4,000 x 3 (members) x 12 (months) = Rs 1,44,000/-
Third : One time cash prize Rs 4,000 x 3 (members) = Rs 12,000/-

For Top 3 teams at National Level – Scholarship and trophies shall be rewarded:
First : Scholarship Prize Rs 10,000 x 3 (members) x 12 (months) = Rs 3,60,000/-
Second : Scholarship Prize Rs 5,000 x 3 (members) x 12 (months) = Rs 1,80,000/-
Third :One time cash prize Rs 15,000 x 3 (members) = Rs 45,000/-
