MH “Seize The Story” Competition 2015 :

By entering the 2015 MH “Seize The Story” (‘Competition’), competition entrants (‘Entrants’) agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Failure to abide by these terms and conditions may render an entrant ineligible for the Competition.

Competition Terms and Conditions :

1. Entrants must submit their entries viamanipalhospitals.tv (‘Entry System’). All entries must follow the entry guidelines and entrants must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for their chosen category, as outlined on Step 1 of the Entry System.
2. Please double-check your files before submitting your entry. If we cannot view your submission, we will be unable to judge your film.
3. The Entry System works seamlessly through manipalhospitals.tv by clicking on the “Time for the premiere” section and the videos have to be uploaded and most video files should be accepted. However, if you run into any difficulties uploading your footage, you can send us your entry at Sachin.rao@manipalhospitals.com via WeTransfer.

4. Preferred formats are outlined below: Formats: Mp4&avi (as we would be uploading it in the YouTube after moderation) Resolution: 720p or 1080p

5. To be eligible for the Competition, entrants must complete the online entry form and submit their film as described in points 1 and 2 (above) by the close of entries. We recommend completing your entry submission earlier, to allow for unforeseen issues that may arise.

6. The competition is open to all who have attained the age of 18 years or above and are the residents of India.
7. Each film may only be submitted once. Entrants may submit multiple entries, as long as each entry differs significantly from any others submitted by that entrant.
8. All films entered must have been made specifically for the MH “Seize The Story” Competition. All entries must be sent before December 5th, 2015.

9. Manipal Hospitals reserve the right to use entrant content (including all or part of any film submitted by an entrant) in any manner they choose. Submission of an entry constitutes consent by the entrant for MH “Seize The Story” to use the content in this way and also to use the entrant’s name and photo for publicity purposes.

10. With out limitation, Manipal Hospitals may use all or part of the MH “Seize The Story” Short Film Competition entries for its consumer campaigns. Entries become the property of Manipal Hospitals. Copyrights shall be assigned to Manipal Hospitals and it may add its logo in the film/s.

11. All copyright, moral rights, and rights of personality for all content, including music and actors, must be cleared. Failure to clear these rights will result in removal of the entry from consideration in the competition.

12. Manipal Hospitals take no responsibility for any failure by an entrant to obtain the necessary authorizations. Entrants warrant that their films (and any material contained in their films, including, but not limited to, any clip) do not infringe the intellectual property rights or any other rights of any person. Entrants (or their parents/guardians) will fully indemnify Manipal Hospitals against any loss, costs, expenses, demands or liability, whether direct or indirect, arising out of a claim by a third party or another party.

13. Manipal Hospitals’ decisions are final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into regarding the judging process or any outcomes reached.

14. Manipal Hospitals, their affiliates as well as their respective directors, officers and employees, shall assume no liability resulting from losses, delays, mistaken addresses on email received, typographical errors, technical, computer or telephone malfunctions, loss or theft of computer or telephone data, damage to software or computer equipment, fraudulent calls or any other mistake.

15. All personal information, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address and age, is collected solely for the purpose of administering this contest and shall not be used for any other purpose without your consent. By providing this information, you consent to it being used by Manipal Hospitals and their affiliates for the stated purposes.

16. The details of the winning participants, i.e. name, age, occupation and complete address or any such other information obtained from them for the purpose of delivering their prizes, as maybe considered necessary, will be verified for the purpose of authentication of the winner and such information shall be used as indented for the purpose of this contest.

17. Participation in this contest is completely free of cost. Manipal Hospitals hereby caution participants about any fraudulent claims made by any person in this regard and also disclaims any responsibility or liability; in the participants make any such payments for participating in this contest.

18. This contest is not sponsored/endorsed/administered by or associated with Facebook by any means. Manipal Hospitals is conducting this contest with the assistance of various third parties.
19. Participants may either be contacted by Manipal Hospitals directly or by any such third party, for and on behalf of Manipal Hospitals.
20. This contest is not open for employees of Manipal Hospitals and their relatives, as well as the employees of the third parties, their family members and relatives, who are assisting Manipal Hospitals in this contest.
21. Manipal Hospitals holds the right to contact the participants even after the expiry period of the contest.
22. Complaints if any must be addressed to Manipal Hospitals, and the decision of Manipal Hospitals in relation to complaints shall be final and binding.

23. The terms and conditions of the contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in India. Further, it is irrevocably and unconditionally agreed that the courts at Bangalore shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to entertain any proceedings in relation to any disputes in any way relating to or concerning this contest.
