DSTE Tripura Online Video Competition

On account of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation to create awareness among the students & common citizens on the importance of ecology & environment, TCCC is going to organize an online video competition for students & common citizens within the state of Tripura

Who Can Participate?

TCCC invites applications from the interested & eligible students/common citizens from within the state of Tripura.

How to Participate?

Students of Schools/College/Universities shall prepare a video with maximum 2 (two) minutes on the theme with a size in between 10 MB to 100 MB. Editing in any form must be avoided. Participants can give background voice on the theme in English only. The video must be forwarded to an email address videotripura2020 [AT] gmail.com.

Kindly note that one page containing the following detail may be forwarded along with the video
1. Name of Applicant (in Block letter)
2. Gender
3. Mobile No.
4. Communication Address

Terms & Conditions

a) The videos should strictly conform to these guidelines i.e. video must be related to theme.
b) While shooting the video, applicant must put voice over in the background to justify his/her thought about the theme.

Words which are erroneous and misleading, and which may provoke communal, obscurantist, anti-scientific and anti-national attitudes will make the entry liable to be disqualified.

c) While sending the entries through email, the size of the video should be Minimum 10 MB or Maximum 100 MB. Editing in any form must be avoided.

d) The person/ persons in the video should be in proper uniform if he/she wants to give voice over in front of camera.
e) The display of obscene acts and exposures that deem to be indecent will be disqualified.

f) An Applicant will be disqualified from the competition if it is found that he/ she is trying to influence any member of the jury by way of writing letters, sending emails, making telephone calls, approaching in person or any other similar activity in this regard.

g) The decisions of the Screening Committee and the Jury shall be final and binding on all participants. The Jury may seek clarifications on any aspect (including age) of an entry from the participant, and if the same is not furnished within the given time, the entry could be disqualified.

h) Relatives of employees working in DSTE, Govt. of Tripura and its Autonomous Bodies will not be considered for the prize.
i) Video provided by the Applicant will be deemed confidential and only used for competition or any other promotional purposes by DSTE, Government of Tripura.

Applicants may understand that their consent for use of their videos by the DSTE, Govt. of Tripura for any promotional activities in future, is inherent and included in their act of submission of their entries to this competition.

j) The cost of making the video is to be borne by the applicant and NO REIMBURSEMENT for the same will be given by the DSTE, Govt. of Tripura.
k) Participants submitting the videos for the competition are solely responsible for copyright regulations, if any.

Their undertaking that the videos don’t infringe on any copyrights or intellectual property rights is inherent and included in their act of submission of their entries to this competition.

l) Authority has all right to accept or reject any entry without showing any reason.
m) Authority has the right to modify amend any/all terms & conditions of the respective competition.

Last Date

The last date for online submission is 25/07/2020. No entry will be entertained after the last date of submission. Before sending the entries students are requested to go through the terms and conditions for online short essay competition.
