SBI Card Gurgaon International Film & Literature Festival 2015 :

The inception of SBI Card GIFLIF finds its resonance with the vast majority of audience, expressing their solace in Films and Literature. The two points converge to create a synergy, which is unparalleled and creates an impact that captivates mind and soul of everyone. They act as bond to allow the freedom to explore and integrate, express and mitigate, and arouse and recreate.

About Film :

SBI Card GIFLIF has cut across the geographical domains and boundaries and has reached more than 90 countries in its first edition. Film entries have not only been received from countries like USA, Russia and China but also from smaller states such as Tunisia, Luxembourg and Honduras. It has lent the festival an inclusive touch of diversification. SBI Card GIFLIF has received 1764 entries from multiple genres such as documentary, experimental, travelogue, animation and time-lapse.

About Literature Festival :

SBI Card GIFLIF is planned in the spectrum of three themes during the three days of the festival. Day one, coined as Filmy Baatein, explores the inter-twining relationship between films and literature. Day two, coined as Paradigm Shift, explores the changing nature of today’s author. It aims to highlight both new and old styles of writing in totality. Third day, coined as Subaltern Culture , explored the different facets of culture as enabler and game changer in CSR, politics and activism.

About Mela :

From legendary poets such as Padmabhushan Gopaldas Neeraj to contemporary poets such as Piyush Mishra. Mela offers a vast opportunity to entice your senses. Not only does mela offer you a scintillating performance by some of the popular singers but it also opens new gateways to upcoming breed of talent in Slam Poetry.

Mela is an honest attempt to offer a delightful experience which finds its expression within everyone. Watch this space for our performers list.

Fond Memories :
A celebration of fond memories of the past and rejuvenating it in the present. The dignitaries to the likes of Padmabhushan Gopaldas Neeraj, Gulzar sahab, Shri Piyush Mishra, Shri Amit Khanna, Shri Ravi Sharma and Shri Gaurav Solanki would be reciting their poetic compositions.

It’s My Choice :
It is the new form of poetry which has moved the contemporary generations – one being the slam poetry and the other one being the open mic poetry. The performances would be based on the contests to be held during November and final review by the jury. All of them once selected will get a chance to recite at SBI Card GIFLIF on 05 Dec 2015.

Moonlight Whispers :
The award function will be held at Dlf Cyberhub, where the jewels of Indian music would be sprinkling the magic of their voice with the stars of SBI Card GIFLIF, who will be felicitated.
