MyGov Water Heroes Stories Contest
“Water Heroes – Share Your Stories” Contest is being continued from 1st September 2020 by the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation; Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India with the objective of promoting the value of water in general and for supporting country-wide efforts on water conservation and sustainable development of water resources.

The participant will have to post their Success Stories in the field of water conservation which will comprise of a Write-up (upto 300 words), Pictures and a video of one to five minutes duration depicting their efforts/ significant contributions/ best practices used in different parts of the country in field of water conservation, water utilization or water resources development and management.
The participants will share their Stories, pictures along with the link of their YouTube Video on MyGov portal. In addition to MyGov Portal, the entries may also be submitted to waterheroes.cgwb@gmail.com (link sends e-mail).
Eligibility
The submission of entry is free and no qualifications are prescribed. All Indian citizens in their personal capacity or on behalf of their NGOs/Organizations, with appropriate authority letter, can participate
How To Participate?
The participants shall share their Stories and Pictures along with the link of their Youtube Video on the MyGov portal by using their registered id on MyGov Portal. In addition to MyGov Portal, the entries may also be submitted towaterheroes.cgwb@gmail.com. Entries submitted through any other medium/mode would not be considered for evaluation.

The participants shall post their Success Stories on MyGov (www.mygov.in) Portal contest page.
The Success Stories in the field of water conservation will comprise the following:
1. A write-up in English or Hindi (upto 300 words);
2. Pictures/Photographs and a video of one to five minutes’ duration depicting the efforts / significant contributions / best practices used by the Applicant in the field of water conservation, water utilization or water resources development and management.

1. Please upload your film on your youtube channel.
2. In the comment section, copy, paste the youtube link here. (do not upload the film here)
Prizes
All selected entries will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- each. Each month, a maximum of 10 entries shall be selected for the cash prize.
Contest Terms
** Each of the winners will be notified through email address that they provide along with their submission. MyGov (www.mygov.in) portal shall display the names of winners.
** The prize money shall be transferred through RTGS/NEFT
** The Government of India, if it so decides, reserves the right not to proceed with the competition at any stage.
** Taxes are the sole responsibility of the teams receiving prizes. Prizes may be subject to tax reporting and other purposes.
** Participants agree to supply any necessary information to affect the same and to fully cooperate in fulfilling all applicable legal requirements.
** The Ministry reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of this Contest and/ or Terms and Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria.
