SSPF National Talent Search & Nurture

In partnership and cooperation with Sports Authority of India and support from the Department of Sports, Government of India, School Sports Promotion Foundation has launched NATIONAL TALENT – SEARCH & NURTURE [NTSN] initiative, reaching across, over the years, to around 30 crores students in primary, middle, secondary & senior secondary schools.

Tournaments Starts From : 15th December, 2015

This initiative aims at preparing young sporting talent for competitive sports and also actively promote physical wellness in addition to imbuing values, attitudes and character generally associated with sports & sports persons; Focus, Resilience, Cooperation, Collaboration, Self Esteem and Discipline.

Objectives :

** Search the talent through structured & Sustained Tournaments to be conducted every year.
** Nurture the talent through organized coaching camps at District, State and National Level.

In doing so, it will:
** Scout for best talents at all levels by conducting sports competitions / tournaments.
** Identify resources, support and coaches for each discipline.
** Identify, coordinate and improve usage of existing infrastructure.
** Arrange to provide top class coaching at district, state and national level
** Create and build teams at all platforms, including national and International levels.
** Forge alliances and partnerships with individuals, sports bodies worldwide, governments, and educational institutions and just about anybody else who can support and sustain the cause of sports and sportspersons.

Eligibility :

Schools:
Any school of any description, ownership or affiliation and anywhere in the country is eligible to participate in any of or both the sports tournaments as below:

Schools with teams in :
** Cricket [Boys]
** Football [Boys]

Students:
Any bonafide student; male or female between the age group of 10 to 15 years can participate through the school team

The Participating officials will certificates of participation or merit as the case be. A suitable honoraria for the services rendered shall also be paid.
