As members of the ISC, all participants, judges, and committee members should consider themselves bound by this code. All entries submitted are solely the ownership of the respective individual or team which presents the idea.
Judges’ Identity :
** The ISC Student Management Committee will publicize the names and associations of all judges who participate in each round of the ISC. The ISME Committee will not, however, provide contact information for individual judges. The ISC will not reveal the identity of judges that read any particular plan unless the judge specifically requests an opportunity to contact the students who submitted the plan.
** No participant may under any circumstances attempt to contact a judge during or before the competition. Any such behavior will result in the disqualification of the participant and his/her team from the ISC.
** No judge will review submissions during more than one round of the competition. Hence, if a judge reviews a group of plans at the Semi-final stage, that judge will not review plans for the Venture Finals. The ISC believes that it is critical to ensure a fresh set of perspectives at each round of the judging process. This policy is also essential to guard against any conflicts of interest that could emerge if judges had pre-existing or develop new relationships with student participants.
