Comic Con India is now a part of the ReedPop family which ushers in a dynamic & exciting phase which will make the experience of pop culture shows in India an enduring one. Beginning with our 2015 Bangalore show, the Cosplay contest at each of our shows has undergone monumental change taking the level of thrill & excitement a couple of notches up.

CCI’s most popular fan event, the cosplay contest is returning to each of the con cities in a completely new avatar. It’s edgier, more competitive, and did we mention the chance to be at the ‘Crown Championships of Cosplay at C2E2 2016’? Yes, CCI Cosplay contests is ready with an all new set of rules which will only go on to further celebrate the efforts of our valiant cosplayers who come out in full force each year in all of our shows to make every event an unforgettable one.

Rules & Regulation :

Following are our new rules and regulations. Please go through them and for any query, drop us a line at info@comicconindia.com
** 4 conventions will feature in our 2015 calendar – 1 each in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi & Mumbai. Each show will feature a cosplay contest.
** Each cosplay contest will have the following categories – Comic Book/Graphic Novel, TV/Movie, Fantasy/Sci-fi, Anime/Manga & Gaming
** Each group will have 1 category winner. And there’ll be a grand prize winner out of all the category winners.
** Each day’s competition will have one grand prize winner.
** Each grand prize winner wins an all expense paid trip to surprise destination for 2 people. T&C Apply.
** This trip is valid for 90 days from the day of winning.
** The winners & their plus ones are required to have valid passports. They are responsible for arranging their respective visas.
** The Cosplay Champions of Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi & Mumbai also head to the final round, where they compete for a spot in the championship round of the Crown Championships of Cosplay at C2E2 2016.
** The winner is decided through an online polling along with CCI internal voting. Further details of the rules & regulations will come out in November, 2015.
** Once selected, the winner qualifies directly into the Championship round of Crown Championships of Cosplay at C2E2 2016, representing CCI as a regional champion against champions from US, Australia, Europe, and China.
** CCI takes care of the round trip from India to US along with stay in Chicago for 1 person, during the period of the C2E2 show.
** Once the winner is announced, one has to submit their passport copy to initiate the travel arrangements, within 2 weeks after the results are declared.
** The contestant/winner need to take care of their visa. CCI will provide the necessary paper work (declaration letter detailing the reason of visit), copy of tickets, etc., to facilitate the process.
** Contestant/winner will be responsible for local travel in Chicago.
** As a contestant in the Crown Championships of Cosplay at C2E2 2016, one has to adhere to the rules and regulations of the C2E2 authorities.
** You will only be eligible to win the grand prize if you have a passport with validity for more than 1 year from the date of winning the contest
