International Robotics Challenge 2015-16 :

Since its inception in 1998, Techfest has stayed true to its motto of spreading the best of science and technology among the masses. Techfest strives for improving international interaction and strengthening the interrelation of foreign countries with India by providing a common international platform for the young budding minds. Hence, Techfest brings forth the International Robotics Challenge, a battle for establishing the glory among tech-enthusiasts at the International platform.

The zonal qualifying rounds for International Robotics Challenge will be held in various countries. Winning entries of these zonal rounds will be invited to compete in the International Robotics Challenge Grand Finale to be held at Techfest 2015-16, IIT Bombay. The international participants who could not compete in the zonal rounds of IRC are allowed to participate in IRC International Open to be held at Techfest, IIT Bombay during 26th – 28th December 2015.

Structure :

** The Indian teams will have to qualify the IRC (India) after which they would be allowed to participate in International Robotics Challenge: The Grand Finale which will be held at Techfest.
** The winners of the international round of IRC Country (International) will get direct entry into International Robotics Challenge: The Grand Finale.
** Any International team, who missed the opportunity to participate in their national zonals of IRC Country (International) can participate in the International Robotics Challenge through the Open Round which will be held at Techfest 2015-16, India.
** Zonal round for Indian Participants(IRC India) to be held at IIT Bombay on 25th December.
** Top two teams from each of the zonal rounds and IRC International Open will be qualified to compete at International Robotics Challenge Grand Finale to be held at Techfest, IIT Bombay during 26th – 28th December 2015.
