Who Can Participate?
** Chromatic Color Photography Awards competition is open to professional and amateur photographers, using all forms of color photography, from any country.
** Anyone over 18 years of age can enter the competition with the exception of employees of the Chromatic Awards, their associated companies and employees of any company chosen to sponsor prizes for the competition. Judges are not permitted to enter into the competition.
How to Enter?
1. All entries for the Chromatic Awards 2021 must be made via the online application panel. Awards Are Open To Color Photography Only. No Black And White Images.
2. You may submit your photo in as many categories as you wish. Once the submission fee is paid, there is no possibility to edit your entry.
Files must meet the following specifications
** awards are open to color photography only;
** sRGB or Adobe98 colour space, 8-bit;
** longest dimension must be 1200 pixels;
** saved as a JPEG at a maximum quality;
** no watermarks, borders* or signatures on your images.
* except Polaroids and other traditional process photos where border is inherent part of the image.
Prizes
** The winner among the professionals will receive $2,000 and the winner of the amateur category will get $1,000. Cash prizes will be paid in USD by PayPal. Any fees incurred for foreign currency transfers will be deducted from the winning amount. There are no alternatives available for prize winners.
** Winning Entrants must be able to provide a high resolution digital file (minimum 2500px wide, 300dpi) to be included in Chromatic Photography Awards Annual Book.
Only files sent on time that meet the requirements for printing will be published. Please note: if you have not been asked for high resolution file, your photo will not be included in the book.
Judging Conditions
Entries will be judged by nominated judges. Images will be judged on artistic merit, originality, subject and style. The decision of Chromatic Awards is final.
General Conditions
** Only color photographs will be accepted to the contest. Black and white images (including toned images) will be disqualified. Images may be captured using film or digital.
** Images that have won prizes in other competitions or that have been submitted in other competitions currently underway are eligible. There is no time or date restriction on when the image was taken.
** Winning Entrants must be able to provide a high resolution digital file (minimum 2500px wide, 300dpi). This file will be used only to prove the ownership of the image.
Winning Entrants who do not fulfill these eligibility criteria will be deemed ineligible and disqualified without the right to appeal.
** All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any other party. The entrant must be the sole copyright owner of all photographs entered and must have obtained permission of any people featured in the entries (or their parents/guardians if children under 16 are featured). Further, the entrant must not have breached any laws when taking their photographs.
