TOI Guess the Game Contest

Times of India Guess the Game Contest 2021 is organized for engagement with TOI reader(s).

Eligibility

** This Competition is valid for Indian citizens aged 18 years.
** The employees of BCCL and their affiliates, distributors and dealers of BCCL, the sponsors of the Contest, family members or the relatives of employees of BCCL, distributors, dealers, sponsors are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

Any such entry, even if successful, would be deemed inadmissible for the purpose of this Contest.

Contest Duration

The Contest participation window shall open from 6 AM till 11 AM every day for that day’s contest. BCCL reserves the right to terminate, extend or shorten the Contest Duration at its sole discretion.

How to Participate?

Steps :
Step 1 : To participate, the Contestant(s) need to look out for Guess the Game question in the sports section of the TOI newspaper. Predict the answer to the question asked and visit www.TOIGuessTheGame.com.

Step 2 : The Contestant(s) will be required to fill in their details, submit their prediction and answer the GK question correctly. Both- the prediction and the answer to the GK question in the form should be correct for the Contestant(s) to be eligible to win.

Step 3 : Everyday 500 entries will be selected using a computer-generated random technique from the Contestant(s) who have correctly predicted the Guess the Game question and also correctly answered the GK question on the website.

Prizes

** The winners for the day’s contest will be declared latest by next day and all will be intimated through an SMS.
** 500 daily winners selected through computer generated random technique will get e-vouchers for upto Rs. 200/- off on Zomato.

** Bumper prize winners- In addition to the daily prizes, each contestant shall score 1 point for each day he/she has correctly answered both the prediction question and the GK question (irrespective whether the Contestant is among 500 lucky winners for that day or not).

** Contestant(s) who have accumulated 8 or more points by 8th August, shall be eligible for the bumper prize. 10 winners will be selected from these eligible contestants using a computer-generated random technique. Each bumper winner will be rewarded an e-voucher worth Rs. 5000/-.

** On days when the game is cancelled (due to any reason), the Contest for that day shall stand cancelled. In the next day’s Contest after the cancelled Contest, 1000 winners will be announced instead of 500, and Contestant(s) with correct prediction as well as correct GK answer, shall score 2 points instead of 1 point.

** On days when there is a tie, 500 winners will be selected using a computer generated random technique from all the eligible participants (the ones who have answered either of the 2 options/players/teams in the prediction question and have also answered the GK question correctly on the website) for that day. All the eligible participants will also get 1 point.

Terms & Conditions

** Decision of the BCCL will be final and binding on all participants and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
** The Prize(s) are non-transferable.

** BCCL will not be responsible for any defects/inadequacy in the products/services redeemed in lieu of the coupons/gift vouchers and the same would have to be addressed to the sponsor/service provider/manufacturer directly. BCCL shall not be liable to replace/exchange the Prize/products/services at any stage.

** The Contest is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. BCCL expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. BCCL does not make any warranty that the Contest and or emanating results will meet your expectations.

** Entries for the Contest received beyond the window period as stated above, shall be rejected. Further, all multiple entries (entries with the same proof details) received for the Contest and/or incomplete entries or entries where the prescribed format for sending the entry has not been followed shall also be rejected. No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
