This year Office of Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles in collaboration with MyGov is organizing Quiz Contest on Handlooms on the occasion of National Handloom Day 7th August 2021.

About the Quiz

The quiz will emphasize on acknowledging weavers of the country who, through generations, have been carrying forward the valuable tradition of weaving and making us proud with their designs and motifs over the years.

Through this quiz, MyGov is making an honest attempt at giving due recognition to the weaving tradition and the weavers of the country.

Who Can Participate?

** This quiz is meant for students upto Class 12th Only. A separate quiz contest has been organized for General Public, link of which is available on the MyGov portal.

How To Participate?

Any individual who desires to participate in the quiz will be required to provide his/her name, date of birth, correspondence address, email address and mobile number.

By submitting your contact details, you will give consent to these details being used solely for the purpose of the Quiz.

Step-2 : Read the Instructions and
Step-3 : Take the Quiz.

Instructions

** This is a timed quiz with 20 questions to be answered in 1200 seconds
** These questions will be randomly picked from the question bank.
** Winners will be adjudged on the basis of maximum number of correct answers.

** In case of multiple participants having given same number of correct answers, the participants who take the least time to complete the quiz will be adjudged the winner.

** You can skip a tough question and come back to it later.
** The quiz will start as soon as you click the Start Quiz button

Rewards

Gratification/Rewards – Cash reward of Rs. 10,000 per person will be given to 20 student winners of the quiz competition.

Terms & Conditions

** The Quiz is being organized by the Office of Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles. It is a timed quiz .
** Winners will be adjudged on the basis of maximum number of correct answers.

** You will be required to provide your name, email address, telephone number, postal address. By submitting your contact details, you give consent to these details being used for the purpose of the Quiz.

** If a winner is not contactable within three working days from the result announcement, he or she will forfeit the prize and another winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the above process until a winner is selected and can be contacted.

** Organiser’s decision on the Quiz shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same.

** The quiz will be available for all contestants for the period of 5 minutes [300 seconds], in which they have to answer 20 multiple choice based questions.

** In case of multiple participants having given same number of correct answers, the participants who take the least time to complete the quiz will be adjudged the winner.

** Once submitted an entry cannot be withdrawn.
** The quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks the Start Quiz button.
** One entrant can participate only once. Multiple entries from the same entrant will not be considered and will be discarded.

** The questions will be randomly picked from the question bank.
** Entry into the Quiz is open to all entrants who are residents of India or are of Indian origin.
