What is IOA Mathematical Kangaroo Competition?

IOA Mathematical Kangaroo Competition is organised by International Olympiad Academy. This contest is eligible for Students from grade 1 to grade 12. Gold medals will be awarded to the top 5% of competitors; silver medals will be awarded to the next top 10% of competitors, and bronze medals will be awarded to the next top 10% of competitors. Test Format of IOA Mathematical Kangaroo Competition

The Test Format of IOA Mathematical Kangaroo Competition are given below,
**The competition consists of a 90-minute multiple-choice test.
**Students who register through their school will take a pen and paper test, however, students who register on an individual level are given the option of taking the test online.
**The Contest will be held in the student’s school (or at the Open Center for Individual Participants), with the assigned contact person in charge of the event.
**Each problem has five options, and the paper comprises 30 questions (except for the Pre Ecolier and Ecolier papers, which have 24 questions).
**For students in grade1to 4, the highest score is 96 points, and for students in grades 5 to 12, the maximum score is 120 points.
**There will be a one-point deduction for each incorrect response, but there will be no penalty for skipping a question.
**Each participant will be given an answer sheet (OMR Sheet) as well as blank sheets to use for calculations.
**At the end of the contest, all used and unused sheets must be returned to the invigilator or proctor.
**To the Contest, students can only bring a pencil or pen, an eraser, and geometry tools.
**During the exam, students will not be permitted to use a calculator.
**In the second round of competition, the first-round perfect scorer will compete.

Awards of IOA Mathematical Kangaroo Competition

Medals & Merit Certificates of IOA Mathematical Kangaroo Competition:
**Gold medals will be awarded to the top 5% of competitors; silver medals will be awarded to the next top 10% of competitors, and bronze medals will be awarded to the next top 10% of competitors.
**All medalists will be presented with merit certificates. Others will receive a participation or appreciation certificate.
**Only an e-certificate will be given for appreciation and participation.
**In the second round of competition, the first-round perfect scorer will compete.
**Students who score higher than 90% in the second round will receive a Perfect Score Award, a Gold Medal, and $100 in cash.
