By participating in the ‘Times Special InQUIZitive Contest’ (“Contest”), you accept and agree that you are of the minimum age of 18 years or you are participating with the due permission of your legal guardian.

Eligibility InQUIZitive Contest

** The quiz/contest shall be known as Times Special Inquizitive Contest and shall be held only between 23rd July, 2023 to 19th November, 2023 on a weekly basis (hereinafter known as “Period of the Contest”).
** The participation window for each weekly quiz will be from 5 AM till 11.59 PM on the day such quiz is published in The Times of India newspaper. Entries received after the participation window will not be considered.
** Only one entry per person will be considered for Contest entry.
** The Contest is organized, managed and conducted by BCCL.
** This Contest is subject to BCCL’s policies and other conditions.
** There shall be no entry fee for the Contest and the Contest is being organised as a customer engagement initiative.
** The Contest is open for any citizen of India.

How to Participate InQUIZitive Contest?

** To participate in the Contest, the participant shall visit www.timesspecialquiz.com and correctly fill in all the details (such as, participant’s name, address, city, mobile number and email address) and answer the questions correctly by applying their minds while participating in the Contest.** The Participant may be required to share the content, including without limitation and as the case may be, texts or any other material submitted in the Contest or recorded in any manner by the participant for the Contest (“Content”).
** BCCL shall have right to disqualify any entry on the basis of objection of plagiarism or IPR infringement raised by any third party, failure to abide by these terms and conditions, bad faith or any other legitimate reason.
** BCCL may also ask any participant to provide proof of originality and/or proof of identification.

Prize for Times Special InQUIZitive Contest

** The winners will be informed via SMS/WhatsApp for each week’s Contest.
** BCCL will try to contact the Participant on a best effort basis on the mobile number/email which was verified during registration.
** BCCL shall not be responsible for any lapse in any communication on account of network or technology failure.
** The vouchers shall be delivered to the winners through SMS/WhatsApp on their registered mobile number/email which was verified during registration.
** The terms of the vouchers will vary basis the brands who are providing these vouchers.
** Each voucher may have a validity period and the same can be redeemed with the respective platforms/brands within such validity period as mentioned on the voucher.
** The Times Special merchandize will be delivered, on best effort basis, to the eligible winners on their registered address which was submitted by the participant during registration.
** In case any winner refuses to accept the prize/voucher decided for him/her, his/her participation in the Contest will be declared null and void.
** Prizes/vouchers cannot be exchanged for their value in cash or for other prizes/vouchers.
** Further, any charge over and above the stated prize/voucher shall have to be borne by the Participants themselves.

Winner determination:
** For first 4 (four) weeks of the Contest only:
(a) For each weekly quiz, out of the correct entries received during the first 2 hours i.e., between 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM, 50 entries will be shortlisted using a random computer-generated technique who will get Barbeque Nation vouchers worth INR 2000/- each.

(b) For each weekly quiz, out of all the correct entries received (except the aforementioned 50 correct entries), 100 entries will be shortlisted using a random computer-generated technique who will get Times Special merchandize.

** After completion of the first 4 weeks of the Period of the Contest, for the remaining Period of the Contest, only 50 winners will be selected using a random computer-generated technique on all correct entries received within the participation window. These 50 winners will get Barbeque Nation vouchers worth INR 2000 each.
