What is Amazon Pay Bills or Recharge and Win ₹1000 Contest?

Pay Bills or Recharge and Win 1000 (“Contest”) is provided by Amazon Pay (India) Private Limited and is made available by Amazon Seller Services Private Limited on the Amazon mobile site and mobile application. An Eligible Participant will be eligible to win only 1 Prize only. The Contest will commence on October 2, 2023 and end on October 6, 2023.

Eligibility of Pay Bills or Recharge Contest

You need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to enter the Contest:
(a) You should be an individual legal resident of the Republic of India;
(b) You should be of an age 18 years or above at the time of entry into the Contest; and
(c) Employees of Amazon, their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren), and our affiliates, advisors, advertising agencies are not eligible to enter the Contest.

How To Participate in Pay Bills or Recharge Contest?

** The Contest will commence on October 2, 2023 and end on October 6, 2023, both days inclusive (“Contest Period”).

** In order to be eligible for the Contest, You are required to (any participant that performs both the steps, the “Eligible Participant”)
(a) make ‘Bill Payments and Recharges’ transaction on Amazon.in to undertake the payment of a bill or mobile recharge and make payment for the transaction on Amazon.in (“Eligible Transaction”); and

(b) click on the “banner” and play ‘Spin and Win’ game after successfully completing the Eligible Transaction, the link for which will be made available on the transaction completion page (Thank You page) through a banner at the bottom.

** Once the Eligible Participant undertakes the steps mentioned above, the Eligible Participant is redirected to the Spin and Win game page and spins the wheel where the pointer stops on a slice of the wheel that mentions the Prize (defined below), the Eligible Participant would then be required to answer a qualifying question (“Contest Question”), within the time period communicated by Amazon.

** It is clarified that only the Eligible Participant(s) who has answered the Contest Question correctly in accordance with these T&Cs will be considered for the purposes of this Contest.

** Subject to these T&Cs, the below prizes will be awarded under this Contest to such number of winners as provided hereinbelow:
(a) 1,000 Eligible Participants will be selected by a random draw of lots and will be eligible to receive a reward of INR 1,000 under this Contest; and
(b) 100 Eligible Participants will be selected by a random draw of lots and will be eligible to receive a reward of INR 100 under this Contest (“Prize”).

** Subject to these T&Cs, the Prize shall be provided in the ‘Amazon Pay Balance The use and redemption of Amazon Pay Balance will be governed by the applicable terms and conditions available at https://www.amazon.in/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=202123460.

Prizes of Pay Bills or Recharge Contest

An Eligible Participant will be eligible to win only 1 Prize only, if such Eligible Participant has participated in the Contest in the manner provided under the ‘Details of the Contest and How to Enter’ section above. The Prize will only be awarded directly to the winner and is non-transferable to any other person or legal entity/body corporate.

It is hereby clarified that maximum number of Prizes that an Eligible Participant is eligible to receive only 1 Prize under this Contest during the Contest Period.

By participating in this Contest, You agree and acknowledge that the Prize is funded by Amazon, to the total exclusion of its affiliates and that You shall not have any claim against Amazon with respect to the same or with respect to any loss or damage whatsoever that You may suffer, directly or indirectly, in connection with this Contest and/or the Prize awarded hereunder or any information thereof.

PRIZE DRAWING:
The drawing for selection of the potential winners of the Contest will be aggregated in accordance with these T&Cs and at the end of the Contest Period. The selected Eligible Participant will be notified through e-mail/sms or notification sent by Amazon.

The selected winners may be required to share a valid proof of identity and age in the form of a copy of PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Indian passport. A PAN card copy is mandatory for prizes worth INR 10,000 or more.

The Eligible Participants will automatically forfeit their claim to the Prize if they do not meet the eligibility criteria or do not answer the Contest Question correctly or within the specified time or do not comply with these T&Cs. Prize(s) will be awarded by Amazon “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied.

There are no cash or other prize alternatives available in whole or in part. However, in circumstances beyond Amazon’s control, Amazon may substitute a similar alternative prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion.

If any Eligible Participant does not respond back to any communications sent in relation to the Contest within the time period communicated by Amazon, or answers the Contest Question incorrectly, these Eligible Participant shall not be eligible to be declared winner of the Prize.

In such cases, another Eligible Participant will be selected by Amazon (at its sole discretion) who will be required to answer the Contest Question correctly within a determined time period which would be communicated to such other Eligible Participant by Amazon, in order to be subsequently selected to receive the Prize.

The selected Eligible Participant will also be required to prove his/ her age, failing which he/she will be disqualified from the Contest. In such cases, Amazon will not be bound or liable in any manner to selected another Eligible Participant for the purposes of this Contest.
