What is Paytm Cashback Carnival?

Paytm Cashback Carnival 2023 organized, sponsored and run by One97 Communications Limited. The participation in the offer is open only for the Offer Period for the Indian citizens of 18 years and above of age. This is a consumer offer wherein all Paytm and Non – Paytm consumers doing an EMI transaction on Paytm EDC Machine between 15th October to 15th November 2023 will be eligible to participate in a the offer. Last Date of Contest is 15th November, 2023.

Eligibility of Paytm Cashback Carnival

** The participation in the offer is open only for the Offer Period for the Indian citizens of 18 years and above of age.
** The residents of any state within territory of India, wherever prohibited by Law shall not be entitled to participate in this offer as applicable.

** Participants understand that contests are being randomly held in Paytm platform and which include playing for daily prize or rank prizes (wherever available). As such those Participants who participate in daily contests of different formats / genre of games and have received some winning prizes; either by way of Paytm cash or by way of goods may or may not be considered eligible for winning the Bumper Prize, and shall be subject to our discretion. You understand that the winner of Bumper Price shall be based on the principles as decided by us.

** He/she must get registered with Paytm through which he/she attempted to play the offer and was chosen as the Winner(s) under this offer.

How to Participate in the Paytm Cashback Carnival?

i) The offer is valid from 15th October, 2023 to 15th November, 2023 (“Offer Period”)
ii) The offer is available to all customers who do an EMI transaction during the Offer Period only.
iii) The offer is applicable only for one transaction per card during the Offer Period.
iv) The unique customer mobile number must be entered within the Paytm card machine while doing the transaction. Participation subjected to one mobile number per transaction.

v) Post successful transaction, customers would get an automated whatsapp/ text message on their mobile number with a deep link to Paytm consumer app. For registered Paytm customers, on landing there, they have to confirm their participation on the landing page and later will be taken to contest page for participating in draws and complete the challenge. For unregistered customers, they will have to complete registration in Paytm consumer app and complete the challenge as mentioned above.

vi) Winners would be contacted on the mobile number entered during the EMI transactions.
vii) Process flow of claiming the reward
** Winners will be contacted by Paytm team within a week of drawing winners.
** During the call, winners will be intimated about their participation in the offer against the EMI txn during the Offer Period.
** If the winner agrees and wishes to proceed further, then will be asked to present the original charge slip, proof of address, proof of identity so that to complete the document validation.
** Once the validation gets completed successfully, winners will be provided with details where they would be able to claim their rewards (in case of movie vouchers, flight tickets and small value gifts, redeemable vouchers will be sent over SMS / Whatsapp)

viii) By participating in the offer, You indicate your acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and other terms and conditions governing your use of Paytm consumer app.

ix) The Participant is aware that there might be network failure, system failure etc. and details submitted by the Participant may not be received by us in time. We shall not be liable in these instances which are not in our control and you agree and undertake not to dispute/challenge the delay caused due to network failure, system failure, etc., which are beyond our control.

Prizes of Paytm Cashback Carnival

** Bumper prizes – Rewards include a Premium Sedan, Bikes, Smartphones, TVs, Flight Tickets, Ear buds, Movie vouchers.
** Assured prizes – Pizza Hut Delivery (Flat 25% off up to INR 300 on MOV of INR 499)

** In case there is a tie between various participant(s), we reserve the right to make the participant(s) who are in tie to participate in additional contests and select the winners which shall be at our discretion. If in case a Winner is yet not selected, this process shall continue till a single undisputed Winner is selected. Further, the Winner will not challenge or dispute any decision(s) taken by us for choosing a Winner.

Prize Distribution of Paytm Cashback Carnival

** Prizes will be credited to the Winner within the timelines as per our discretion, after selection of Winner(s) and completion of Prize claiming process.
** The Prize under this offer is neither assignable nor transferable under any circumstance, unless specifically provided hereunder. The Prize shall not be transferable and no request shall be entertained by us for such transfer.

** The Prize to Winner shall be given subject to compliance with all applicable statutory legislations including RBI guidelines (including KYC formalities as may be applicable) in connection with the Prize and on production of all such documents/papers as may be applicable and required by us.

** Any failure on Participant’s/Winner’s part to comply with directions issued for claiming the Prize shall entitle us to forfeit the Prize.

** We shall not be responsible for any delay on part of any third party including the courier agency, in delivering the Prize (if applicable). All costs and expenses for collecting the Prize, unless otherwise specified, shall be borne solely by the Winner(s) under this offer.

** Without prejudice to the foregoing, under no circumstance shall the Winner(s) of the offer be entitled to redeem any category of Prize for cash, unless expressly mentioned herein. We, at our sole discretion, may or may not provide a cash alternative to any of the Prize being offered in this offer.

** Without prejudice to any of the foregoing clauses, any failure on the part of the Winner(s) under this offer to comply with directions issued by us shall entitle us (at our own discretion), to cancel and forfeit the Prize for the said Winner(s).
** The Prizes offered in this offer will be sponsored by Paytm and distributed by respective brands/ Paytm

** Any Prizes to a person/Participant will be subject to deduction of taxes as applicable. We shall in advance deduct TDS as per applicable Income tax rules. In case the prize is delivered/ given to the Winner, then the Winner shall pay TDS. In the event the Participant is not able to pay the TDS amount, we will have the right to forfeit the Prize amount with no further liability in this regard.

** Post completing documentation process, the Winner will be informed (through tele- calling/Email/SMS) regarding the modalities of the prize and distribution thereof. Delivery of prize will be subject to the Winner(s) giving the correct address and his/her availability on provided address. In the event the prize cannot be delivered, when specified that it will be delivered, due to reasons beyond our control, the Winners shall collect them from the nearest place specified by us and shall bear all the costs and charges involved.

** In case of anomalies in the details of the Participant registered with Paytm and documents submitted by the Participant/s claiming Prize, such Participants will stand disqualified with immediate effect.
** Prize Distribution to the winners shall be as
i) Premium Sedan & Bikes – drawn at the end of campaign / Offer
ii) Smartphones & TVs – select days during the Offer Period
iii) Flight Tickets, Ear buds, Movie vouchers & Assured Prize – daily draw during Offer Period
