What is PU Photography Competition?

Photography Competition 2023 is organized by Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh. The competition is open for all students of school, college, University as well as the general public. There will be no age limit for participation. There will be two photography contests on the themes of ‘PU Structure’ and ‘Shadows of PU Campus’. Last Date of Competition is 15th November 2023.

How to Apply for Photography Competition?

Photo professionals & enthusiasts can apply from 1.11.2023 to 15.11.2023. The entries should reach by 3 pm on 15.11.2023 at office of
Department of Public Relations,
Ground Floor, Room. 29,
Administrative Block,
Panjab University,
Chandigarh.
University reserves the right to cancel/postpone the contest without assigning any reason.

Terms & Conditions for Photography Competition

1. There is no Entry Fee.
2. The competition is open for all students of school, college, university as well as for the general public.
3. Each contestant can submit entries on both the themes. One person can give maximum upto five entries on one theme.
4. First, Second and Third Prize winners in both the themes will be awarded with cash prize of Rs.5000/-, 3000/- and 2000/- respectively.
5. One person will be eligible for one prize in each of the themes.
6. Photograph can be in Color or Black and White.
7. Edited Photograph will not be considered for the contest.
8. Photographs with scripts with drawing such as signature and props will not be accepted.
9. Only first, second and Third positions holder will be awarded.
10.Decisions of Jury will be final and binding upon all the competitors.
11.The entries should reach by 3 PM on November 15, 2023 at DPR Office Ground Floor, Room No. 29, Administrative Block, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
12.In case of less than 5 entries, the DPR reserves the right to cancel the competition in that theme.
13.The organizer reserves the right to cancel/postpone the event without assigning any reason.
14.The size of photograph should be 12X18 inches with soft copies of same must be emailed at panjabuniversitydpr@gmail.com.
15.Soft copy must be in jpeg format only and the size of file should not be less than one MB.
16.The hard/soft copy of all the photographs received will be the property of the University and University will have right to use the Photographs.
