What is BEE Painting Competition?
Painting Competition 2023 is organized by Bureau of Energy Efficiency. Painting competition for students at the School, State and at National level has been included as one of the activities of the campaign, which would not only make aware the children about the need of conserving energy but at the same time would educate and involve their parents as well in the above cause. The Bureau of Energy Efficiency takes this opportunity to request school principals to encourage their students to participate in this National / International activity. Last Date of Registration is 6th November 2023.

Eligibility of Painting Competition
To sensitize the school children towards Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation in domestic sector, the Ministry of Power (MoP), Government of India (GoI), undertakes pan India National Awareness Campaign by organizing Painting Competition for students. This Competition is also applicable to schools situated outside India and participants from such schools would be judged separately for the selection of National winners and separate prize money for Group A & B.
Group ‘A’ : 5th, 6th & 7th Standard Students
Group ‘B’ : 8th, 9th & 10th Standard Students
Methodology of Painting Competition
School, State & National level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation-2023 for Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.
School Level Painting Competition
** School Principals of India and outside India are to visit www.bee-studentsaward.in and register their school to create ID and password.
** Schedule a date and organize painting competition of the 2 hours duration for 5th, 6th & 7th standard students under Group ‘A’ and for 8th, 9th & 10th standard students under Group ‘B’.
** Students must use A4 size sheet and painting material such as pencil, colour pencils, crayons & water colours. Students can select any one of the above-mentioned themes.
** School principals shall select 2 best paintings from each Group ‘A & ‘B’ and scan them in jpg/jpeg (Max size 2MB) to upload.
** Login with the ID and Password on www.bee-studentsaward.in and upload the two best scanned paintings along-with list of participants of School Level Competition (in the excel format) of each Group.
** In case of internet connectivity issues, Principal of the school may send two best paintings from each Group to the Nodal Officer of their State/UT so as to reach him by 31st October, 2023.
State/UT Level Painting Competition
** 50 best paintings each for Categories ‘A’ & ‘B’ will be selected by a Committee of Experts/Jury.
** Selected students from Group ‘A’ & ‘B’ will be called for two hours on-the spot Painting Competition to be held on 14th November, 2023.
** 1st Prize – ₹50,000, 2nd Prize – ₹30,000, 3rd Prize – ₹20,000, 10 Appreciation Prizes of ₹7,500 each
** Each participating student from Categories ‘A’ & ‘B’ will be paid ₹2000/- in cash and a participation certificate.
National Level Painting Competition
** 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners of State Level Painting Competition of the Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ from each State/UT will be invited to Delhi to participate in “National Level Painting Competition” to be held on 11th December, 2023.
** In case of international participants, 3 best Paintings of Group A & Group B each would be evaluated by BEE.
** International Paintings will be separately judged for winners of National Level Painting Competition.
** National Level winners of both Groups ‘A’ & ‘B’ will be awarded prizes by the Chief Guest on the “National Energy Conservation Day Function” to be held in Delhi on 14th December, 2023.
** 1st Prize – ₹1,00,000, 2nd Prize- ₹50,000, 3rd Prize- ₹30,000, 10 Appreciation Prizes of ₹15,000 each
* In case of international winners, the number of awards shall be decided by the Jury and award prize would be converted into equivalent US$.
NOTE :
** Students who have won either 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize during the year 2022 within the Group at State Level Painting Competition would not be eligible to participate in the competition at any level of competition in 2023. However, 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize winner of Group A of the year 2022 can participate in Group B of the year 2023, if eligible.
** Use of Collage/Patchwork is not permitted in the paintings at all levels of competition.
** Paintings selected at School Level, State/UT Level and National Level would be the sole property of BEE, which will have the right to use it for any purpose it considers appropriate.
** The decision of the Jury/Expert Committee at all levels of the painting competition will be final & no correspondence shall be entertained.

Step-2 : Select New User
** All the Fields are Mandatory except – Residential STD, Residential Number, Fax STD and Fax.
** Signature Image should be in JPG or JPEG or PNG format.
** Signature Image Upload Size should not exceed 2mb.
Step-3 : Select User Type School or Individual
Fill all the required details as mentioned above.
Step-4 : After completion of registration click on sign in
Step-5 : After entering the above mentioned username then click on Forgot My Password
Step-6 : Enter once again same username and then click on Forgot password.
