What is Goloka Shades Annual Art Competition?

Goloka Shades is an annual art competition conducted by ISKCON Bangalore. Goloka Shades is an annual art competition conducted during the months of November and December. This is an inter-school competition conducted for participants from Nursery to Class X. We cordially invite the children to participate enthusiastically in the contest. The competitions include colouring, painting, pencil shading and handwriting.

Event Guidelines of Goloka Shades Annual Art Competition

Events that children can take part in Goloka Shades program
i) Colouring
ii) Painting
iii) Pencil Shading
iv) Handwriting

Colouring

1. This contest is open for participants from Pre-nursery to Class VII.
2. Colouring sheet will be provided.
3. Stationery items like pens, pencils, colour pencils, crayons, eraser, etc. should be brought by the participants.
4. The participants should mention their name and other details on the given sheet.
5. This is a SOLO event.
6. Duration is 60 minutes
Judgement criteria: Creativity, Colour combination, Visual appeal and Presentation.

Painting

1. This contest is open for participants from Class V to Class X.
2. Theme is “Bala Krishna”.
3. A plain drawing sheet will be provided.
4. Participants to do the outline. Paints/any other coloring materials can be used.
5. The participants should mention their name and other details on the given sheet.
6. This is a SOLO event.
7. Duration is 60 minutes
Judgement criteria: Creativity, Colour combination, Visual appeal and Presentation.

Pencil Shading

1. This contest is open for participants from Class V to Class X.
2. Theme is “Bala Krishna”.
3. A plain drawing sheet will be provided.
4. Stationery items like pens, pencils, etc. should be brought by the participants.
5. The participants should mention their name and other details on the given sheet.
6. This is a SOLO event.
7. Duration is 60 minutes
Judgement criteria: Creativity, Visual appeal and Presentation.

Handwriting

1. This contest is open for participants from Class I to Class X.
2. English text matter along with ruled sheets will be given.
3. The participants should mention their name and other details on the given sheet.
4. Writing materials should be brought by the participants.
5. This is a SOLO event.
6. Duration: 60 mins
Judgement criteria: Creativity, Neatness, Angle and word spacing.

Awards & Prizes of Goloka Shades Annual Art Competition

Winners will receive awards and certificates. The school with the highest number of entries will also be felicitated with the best school trophy. All the participants will get a participation certificate.

Venue: Multi-vision Theatre, ISKCON, HK Hill, Bangalore – 560010
