What is 37th Pune International Marathon?
37th Pune International Marathon 2023 is premium Marathon event in India. Since 1983, thousands of runners from all walks of life have taken part in the event. Pune International Marathon is now widely used as a platform to spread social message and to raise fund for charitable cause. Pune International Marathon route consist of city of Pune’s scenic and historic locations with thousands of spectators lining up the course to cheer runners. It is the most anticipated running festival of city of Pune.

Event Details of Pune International Marathon
Date : 3rd December 2023
Venue : Baburao Sanas Sports Ground ,Pune
03:30 am (Midnight) – Men & Women Marathon
04:00 am (Midnight) – Men & Women Half Marathon
6:15 am – Men & Women 10 KM
6:45 am – Men & Women 5 KM
7:15 am – Wheel-Chair Run 3 KM
8:00 am – Prize Distribution
Note:
1. Every Registered Participant of Marathon, Half, 10K, 5K run will be receive T-Shirt, Certificate, Medal and Time Chip & Break-fast.
2. Event start timings are tentative and may slightly change by the Pune Marathon Organising Committee.
3. Athlete must report atleast 30 mins before the start of race time.
4. If chest BIB number is lost or misplaced, the participant will not be allowed to participate.
5. Participants must provide photo identification upon picking up their race kit to verify their identity as the registrant to whom the BIB number is assigned.
6. Assembly will be before 30 mins of the start of all respective races.
7. Collection and use of information: I acknowledge and agree that my personal information (including medical information) can be stored, used and disclosed by the organisers in connection with the organisation, promotion and administration of the event and for the compilation of statistical information.
How to Register for Pune International Marathon?
** Registration is available online (if not sold out) by visiting www.marathonpune.com . Alternatively, you can contact us, and we will be happy to mail a form to you, if the event is not sold out. You can also visit our office and submit paper entry form. We do not accept phone entries.
** If you register online then you would receive registration confirmation email after successful payment transaction. All entries submitted in person at our office will be treated as confirmed. Please Note: Final confirmation/information will be emailed to participants within 1 week before the event.
** All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund. If you cannot participate, you may not give or sell your number to anyone else and entry fees will not be transferred from year to year.
** Each registered participant and finisher will receive the following:
i) Race number, official timing tag , Event Guide and T-shirt.
ii) Water and Sports Energy Drink along the course
iii) Refreshments and water at the start and finish lines
iv) Finisher’s medal when you cross the finish line
v) Downloadable finisher’s certificate post race

Rules & Regulations of Pune International Marathon
** Participants must provide photo identification upon picking up their race kit to verity their identity as the registrant to whom the BIB number is assigned.
** Full Marathon Cut-Off time 6 Hrs.
** Participant race number BIBs are specific personal identifiers and may not be exchanged with or transferred/sold to any other person. The sale and/or transfer of race entries/BIBs is strictly prohibited and will result in the disqualification and/or banning of any individuals involved from future event/s.
** Each participant must sign/agree an event waiver before participating in the event.
** All participants should take part at their own wish and risk and undertake not to participate if they are medically unfit to do so.
** Participant must undertake to abide by the race rules, race instructions and marshal directions.
** All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner during their participation in the event.
** Participants may not be accompanied by anyone on race route that is not registered in the event.
** No bikes or wheeled vehicles are allowed on the course.
** No tobacco, alcohol or any other banned substance is permitted.
** The organisers reserve the right to remove any entrant who is medically unfit to continue in the opinion of the Medical Officer.
** The course will remain secured until 08:30am. At that time, the event is officially concluded and there will be no traffic protection but Aid Stations will be operated upto 10:00 am.
** All finish times are reviewed before times are deemed official.
** Participants with missing or irregular split times at official timing checkpoints will be reviewed and may be disqualified.
** In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Race Director will be final.
** Video recording and Photographs will be taken of runners and used for the purpose of advertising and promoting the event/s.
** Race mementos: only finishers of 5k and 10k run, Half Marathon and Marathon will receive medal and goody bag.
** Event cancellation: the event will only be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances. In such an eventuality all participants will be notified by email as soon as possible.
** Entry fee is non-refundable.
** Any participant who is found in breach of these terms and conditions will be excluded from current and future event/s
** Event officials reserve the right to modify, supplement or waive all or part of the event rules.
