What is MAGGI Apna Food Business?
MAGGI Apna Food Business Contest 2023 is organized by Nestlé India. Participant(s) must be a citizen of India and must be residing in India. Nestlé India will provide financial assistance to select participants to help them set up or expand their food businesses. MAGGI Apna Food Business has 4 stages to it
STAGE-1 :
Stages : Call for entry stage
Details : All entries will be solicited through SMS and Whatsapp
Eligibility : Submission of entry in the defined format in www.maggi.in/apnafoodbusiness
Rewards : 1. Exclusive ‘Food Business Guide’ to all valid entries
2. Access to online training material of phase 2 in the future

STAGE-2 :
Stages : Mentorship & training stage
Details : 300 participants will be selected from the entries
Eligibility :
Entries will be selected basis the following criteria:
1. Recipe Concept
2. Is the recipe convenient?
3. Is the recipe creative?

1. Month long mentorship and training on how to become a successful online food creator
2. Recipes featured in www.maggi.in

STAGE-3 :
Stages : Building a business plan
Details : 30 participants will be selected from the 300
Eligibility :
Participants will be selected basis the following criteria:
1. Successful completion of all modules
2. Online test performance
3. Votes for recipes in www.maggi.in

STAGE-4 :
Stages : Business presentation and winners
Details : 10 winners will be selected from the 30 participants
Eligibility : Participants will be selected basis the robustness of the presentation
Rewards : Financial support of 5 lakh to each winner to start their online food channel

Eligibility of MAGGI Apna Food Business
a. Participant(s) must be a citizen of India and must be residing in India. Residents of other countries and non-Indian citizens are not eligible to participate.
b. Participants must be 18 years or above.
c. The employees, agents, associates and promoters of Nestlé India Limited and of its affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising agencies (including their immediate family members) and all others directly associated with organizing the Program(s) are not eligible to participate.
d. A participant is free to opt-out of the program at any given point in time by providing a written communication to the organizers at WeCare[AT]in.nestle.com
How to Participate in the MAGGI Apna Food Business?
i) A participant can submit only 1 entry and no group entries are allowed.
ii) Entries are required to be submitted according to the procedure described in www.maggi.in/apnafoodbusiness only. Entry submitted through any other mode or platform shall not be entertained.
iii) Entries must comply with the following guidelines:
** All entries submitted shall be as per the terms & conditions described;
** Entries cannot be sexually explicit or suggestive, violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, profane or pornographic, or contain nudity;
** Entries cannot promote alcohol, illegal drugs, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political agenda or message;
** Entries cannot be obscene or offensive, endorse any form of hate, hate-speech or hate group; or religious sentiments;
** Entries cannot promote terrorist acts such as providing instructions on how to assemble bombs, grenades and other such weapons or provide instructional information about illegal activities;
** Entries cannot defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging or slanderous remarks about Nestlé India, its customers or its products, or other people,products or companies;
** Entries cannot contain trademarks, logos or trade dress owned by others, or advertise or promote any brand or product of any kind, without permission, or contain any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, personal names, e- mail addresses or street addresses;
** Entries must be original and cannot contain copyrighted materials owned by others (without permission and cannot be plagiarized from any source);
** Entries cannot contain background artwork, unless it is an original work of the participant;
** Cannot depict, and cannot itself, be in violation of any law.
The entry of the participant warrants and represents that it:
(a) is the participant’s original work,
(b) does not infringe upon the copyright, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity;
(c) that the participant has obtained permission from any other person whose name, likeness or image is used in the photo and
(d) and that publication of the entry via various media including web posting, will not infringe any third party rights. The participant will indemnify and hold harmless Nestlé India and the promotion parties from any claimsto the contrary.
Modules & Course Schedule of MAGGI Apna Food Business
** In phase 2, the selected 300 participants would be eligible to attend a 4-week long online workshop and their recipes will be uploaded in www.maggi.in
** This 4-week long workshop will consist of 8 to 10 online modules in total.
** 2 to 3 modules will be conducted per week for the 4 weeks and each of these modules will be 1 hour long.
** The timing of these online classes will be available in the microsite www.maggi.in/apnafoodbusiness and will be shared over SMS.
** Weekly course work will be assigned to the participants based on these online classes. A participant has to attend all the modules and also complete all the course work to proceed to round 3.
** At the end of the 4-week workshop, participants who have completed all the modules will be required to take part in an online test.
** In this phase, the participants will have to ask their friends and family to vote for their recipes in www.maggi.in
** 30 participants will be selected for round 3 basis their score in the online test, successful completion of all the online modules and the number of votes they get for their recipes.
** In this round, the selected 30 participants will have to present a business case to a panel of experts from the industry, IFN and MAGGI.
** Basis the robustness of the business case, 10 participants will be declared the final winners.
