What is Haryana Talent Search Examination?

HTSE 2023 Haryana Talent Search Examination is organized by Haryana Knowledge Corporation Limited HKCL. The eligibility criteria of HTSE 2023, all the students of 5th to 12th standard are eligible to appear in this HTSE. Students from both government and private schools are eligible to register for this exam. One student can give maximum one Exam only and will be considered for maximum one award. Top 5 students will be selected from the State from each Group and next top 3 students will be selected from each group and district. Last Date of Registration is 20th November 2023.

Eligibility of Haryana Talent Search Examination

The eligibility criteria of HTSE 2023, all the students of 5th to 12th standard are eligible to appear in this HTSE. Students from both government and private schools are eligible to register for this exam.

Terms & Conditions of HTSE

** 5th to 12th Std. students from Hindi, Semi English and English Medium of HBSE, CBSE, ICSE can participate in HKCL HTSE.
** Students shall approach HKCL ALC (Authorized Learning Center) for an Online Examination.
** One student can give maximum one Exam only and will be considered for maximum one award.
** If any student is winner in State Level, then he/she will not be eligible for any District Level Award Category And vice-a-versa.
** One student will be eligible to get a maximum of 1 award amount in any category.
** HKCL may use the participant students’ information for marketing & communication purposes in future.
** HKCL reserves all rights related to ‘HKCL HTSE.
** HKCL reserves rights to modify prize amount, important dates, terms & conditions and other details related to HKCL HTSE without any prior notice.
** HKCL shall not be liable to anyone for any modification/s in HKCL HTSE.
** Students from each standard shall give examination of respective group only. e.g., students from 6th standard shall give Group A HTSE exam only. If s/he attempts exam of any other group, his/her marks are not considered in final result.
** Students from Hindi and Semi-English, English mediums will be treated at same level. There will be same merit criteria for all mediums, awards will not be declared medium wise.

Prizes of Haryana Talent Search Examination

Top 5 students will be selected from the State from each Group and next top 3 students will be selected from each group and district. Thus from 22 districts, 264 winners will be selected from all Groups.

The following awards will be given to the state level winners:
State Level Awards Standard (5th to 12th) :
First : Rs. 5100/-
Second : Rs. 4100/-
Third : Rs. 3100/-
Fourth : Rs. 2100/-
Fifth : Rs. 1100/-
Reward money along with medal and their name will be published on the website

Prizes will be awarded to the District Winners as follows:

Criteria for choosing a winner:
** The state and district level winners will be selected on the basis of the marks they have scored, the questions they have solved, the correct questions solved for the subject, the difficulty level of the questions, the minimum marks required to pass.
** We have considered students with minimum 40 and above marks for district and state awardee selection.
** Students who get the same scores at all these levels will be selected pre-defined tie breaker rule.

FAQ on Haryana Talent Search Examination

What is the process for registration?
Ans: The student can register oneself by visiting a nearest Authorized Learning Center (ALC) of HKCL. The names of nearest Authorized Learning Center can be obtained from hkcl.in.

Is there any participation fees?
Ans: Yes, there is a nominal registration fee of Rs. 150/-

Can I retake my test?
Ans: No, one cannot retake the exam.

How can I generate my participation certificate?
Ans: After the result You can collect your participation certificate from the registered ALCs.

What is the time duration for the test?
Ans: You have to do 80 questions in 60 minutes.

Does student required any id proof during exam?
Ans: Yes, student should bring Aadhar card/ school id card/ any other photo id proof.

What will be the curriculum?
Ans: Regular School Curriculum is followed for setting the examination papers.

Are all the questions objective or subjective?
Ans: Each question is of objective type with options to select.

What should I do if my time lapses before submission of test?
Ans: In case, your time lapses before your submission of the test then the test will be submitted automatically.

Can I skip any question during test?
Ans: Yes, you can but why do you want to skip? We want you to score maximum so try your best to answer all questions. Don’t worry as there is no negative marking
