What is MOHAN Foundation Rangoli Competition?

MOHAN Foundation is conducting it’s 5th edition of the Rangoli Competition ‘Azhiyadha Kolangal 5’ to raise awareness on organ donation in the form of rangoli, kolam and pookolam. We invite you to participate in this competition. Maximum of 2 people are allowed in a team. Teams who have registered online are eligible to participate and submit their entry. Top 3 winners will be announced after the final selection at a brief online prize distribution ceremony. Last Date of contest is 15th January 2024.

Rules & Regulations for Rangoli Competition

The Rules & Regulations of the Rangoli Competition are given below:
1. Maximum of 2 people are allowed in a team. Teams who have registered online are eligible to participate and submit their entry.
2. The size of the Rangoli should be within 3*3 ft and must include your registration number.
3. Flowers/grass/non-edible natural materials /colour powder is to be used. Paints are not allowed. Design should be an original one and not copied.
4. Teams must complete their Rangoli within 2 hours. The registration number should be clearly visible in the image of the rangoli.
5. The teams will be identified by their registration number only.
6. The decision of Judges will be final. In case participants exceed the time limit, Judges will be free to disqualify the team.
7. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to change the date, time and rules, if desired. Organizers will contact the registered participants either by email or contact number submitted during registration.
8. Top 3 winners will be announced after the final selection at a brief online prize distribution ceremony (27th January 2024). Participants are required to be present at this ceremony.

Judging Criteria of Rangoli Competition

Judging will be based on the following Criteria
** Originality of the concept
** Details and Clarity in the theme of Organ Donation
** Colour combination and creativity
** Explanation of the concept of your design

Submission Process of Rangoli Competition

1. Submit 3 photos (one at the start, middle and final) of your rangoli with a short write-up about the design and submit it via: Whatsapp: 9444607000 Email: campaigns@mohanfoundation.org
2. Give your registration number clearly in your submission.
3. Last date of submission is January 18, 2024.

Prizes of Rangoli Competition

** Participation certificate shall be provided to all who have submitted their entry.
** Altogether 3 prizes will be awarded for the 3 best designs and additional 3 special gifts for 3 runners up.
