What is PVR-INOX Spin to the NBA Contest?

Spin to the NBA Contest 2023 is organized by PVR-INOX. The Contest will run from December 8, 2023 to December 17, 2023. During the Contest Period, eligible Participants must during the Contest Period upload a video showcasing the skill of spinning a basketball on their fingertip on their own accounts on Instagram handles and share with the designated hashtag #PVRINOXSPINTOTHENBA in the post. Multiple entries are permitted.

Eligibility of PVR-INOX Spin to the NBA Contest

1. The Contest will run from December 8, 2023 (“Start Date”) to December 17, 2023 (“Closing Date”)(“Contest Period”). During this period, residents of India who are at least of 10 (ten) years of age on the Start Date may enter the Contest. Wherever in the Terms & Conditions the word Participant/Participants in mentioned, it shall mean and include the Parents and/or Legal Guardian of a participant if he/she is a minor under 18 years old.

2. During the Contest Period, eligible Participants must during the Contest Period upload a video showcasing the skill of spinning a basketball on their fingertip on their own accounts on Instagram handles and share with the designated hashtag #PVRINOXSPINTOTHENBA in the post. Multiple entries are permitted.

How to Participate in the PVR-INOX Spin to the NBA Contest?

1. Record a video to show us your longest spin- Spin the ball on your fingertip
2. Upload the video on Instagram
3. Use the contest hashtag #PVRINOXSPINTOTHENBA
4. Tag official PVR and INOX handles
5. DM us the link to your post on either PVR or INOX
6. Confirm your participation by leaving a comment on any NBA contest post on our official PVR or INOX Instagram handles

Terms & Conditions of PVR-INOX Spin to the NBA Contest

1. The jury team of NBA representatives will carefully evaluate all entries and select the top 10 entries, which shall be announced on PVR-INOX’s official social media platforms on December 23, 2023.

2. The top 10 Participants will have the exclusive opportunity to exhibit their respective exceptional basketball spinning skills live at a designated PVR or INOX cinema in or at the Participant’s nearest city of residence in India on December 27, 2023.

During the Local Events, a PVR-INOX representative will oversee the final round of the Local Events wherein each of the top 10 Participants will be required to perform live and compete to exhibit their exceptional basketball spinning skills for the longest duration and accordingly, one ultimate winner will be chosen from these 10 Participants based on their ability to spin the ball for the longest duration.

3. The Participants should submit requisite Proof of Address, Proof of Identity, contact details and Proof of Age at the time of accepting to attend the Local Events.

Any Participant found to be entering incorrect contact details, including incorrect email contact details, will have all entries invalidated, and any claim to any prize will be invalidated. If such a Participant is awarded a prize and then found to have breached this Term, the Participant must immediately return any prize awarded.

PVR-INOX has sole discretion to determine if any Participant has breached this Term. PVR-INOX reserves the right to request any documentation to confirm if the Participant breached this Term A Participant must provide any other requested documentation to PVR-INOX upon request.

4. The Winner shall win a trip for themselves and one companion to watch one NBA regular season game live in the USA (the “Prize”). The NBA will pay two round trip economy class airfares and one double-occupancy hotel room for the winner and one companion.

5. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the Winner and their travel companion. All Prize travel will be subject to the carrier’s general conditions of carriage.

The Winner and their companion shall apply and obtain the visas and other travel documentation for USA at their own cost, expenses and risk. Prizes is/are non-endorsable, not transferable and non-substitutable. The Contest cannot be clubbed with any other contest or offer. Travel insurance is not included in the Prize but is highly recommended.

6. The Prize cannot be used as part payment for another airfare package. Frequent flyer points cannot be accrued on this prize. Flights and accommodation are subject to availability when booking and cannot be exchanged for other destinations. Prize bookings are subject to conditions & availability (including but not limited to capacity limitations and other restrictions).

7. If the Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, PVR INOX reserves the right to substitute the Prize or destination of the Prize, subject to laws of India. It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and PVR INOX requirements. Each Prize must be taken as stated.

PVR INOX does not guarantee that the Winner will enjoy the Prize or be suited to the type of Prize offered. If, for any reason whatsoever, the Winner does not take an element of the Prize at the time stipulated by PVR INOX, then that element of the Prize will be forfeited by the Winner, and cash or other compensation will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize.

8. PVR-INOX reserves the right to discontinue the Contest, modify, add or delete any of the terms and conditions or participation mechanics of the Contest at any point of time at its sole discretion without serving any prior intimation to the participants and it is the sole responsibility of the Participants to keep themselves up to date about any such change, discontinuation etc.

As set out in this point, PVR-INOX, NBA Properties, Inc., the National Basketball Association (the “NBA”), and the NBA member teams (collectively, the “NBA Entities”) shall not be liable to pay any compensation (financial or otherwise) to any Participants or anybody else.

9. Employees of the NBA Entities, including affiliates, agents and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of such employees, are not eligible to enter or win the contest.

10. The Participants understands that by accepting the Prizes, PVR-INOX and the NBA Entities has fulfilled all obligations it has or may have to the Participants in connection with the Contest, and the Participants has no further claims against PVR-INOX / NBA Entities in connection with the Contest or Prize.

11. The Participants further agrees to not to make any disparaging, negative, or defamatory comments, whether written or oral, about PVR-INOX, the NBA Entities, the Contest, or the Prizes.
