What is Vijay Parisu Thiruvizha Contest?
“Vijay Parisu Thiruvizha” Contest 2024 will be hosted by Star India Private Limited for the purpose of promotion and viewer engagement of its channel ‘Star Vijay’ and its programs viz Chinna Marumagal Panirendaam Vaguppu and Nee Naan Kadhal. The Participant(s) interested in participating in the Contest must be Citizen of India and Resident of Tamil Nadu State. Each Winner shall be entitled to a gratification of one gift coupon which does not exceed Rs.10,000/-. Last Date of Contest is 23rd February 2024.

Eligibility of Vijay Parisu Thiruvizha Contest
The Participant(s) interested in participating in the Contest must be:
** Citizen of India
** 18 years (eighteen) and above years
** Resident of Tamil Nadu State
** The Participant(s) should not have been previously convicted of any criminal offense or must not be a party to an arrangement or a contract that prevents them from participating in the Contest.
** The Employees of the SIPL, the Production Houses of the programs of Star Vijay and other channels of SIPL, the advertising agency or any other agency or third-party vendor which has been appointed from time to time, and also employees of the main sponsors of the programs of Star Suvarna and other channels of SIPL and members of their immediate family, are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
How to Participate in the Vijay Parisu Thiruvizha Contest?
** Star India shall announce the Contest via promos on the Channel and other channels of Star India, newspaper ads, radio, outdoor and digital platforms of the Channel (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) or through any other medium of exploitation which shall be at the sole discretion of Star India.
** The Contest shall be conducted on five (5) days a week (Monday to Friday) commencing from January 22nd, 2024, at 9:30 PM Indian Standard Time (“IST”) and shall conclude on February 23, 2024 at 10:30 PM IST (“Contest Period”) on the Channel, each day of the Contest Period shall be referred as “Contest Day”.
** For sake of clarity, it is clarified that the Contest Period shall consist of a total of 25(twenty-five) days and thus the total number of questions will be 50 (fifty) during the Contest Period. SIPL reserves all rights to make amendments to the Contest Period or such other terms and conditions stated herein, without giving prior notice.
** It shall be the sole responsibility of the Participant (s) to check the Terms and Conditions for the Contest on the Channel and /or the Website from time to time. SIPL also reserves the right to cancel and/or postpone the Contest without any prior intimation to the Participant(s).
** The Contest shall comprise of 2 (two) multi choice questions on each day of the Contest Period with three (03) answer options for each question, based on the episode of the Programs telecasted in the Channel on the day between 9:30 PM IST and 10:30 PM IST of (“Question/s) during telecast of the Programs.
** It is clarified that the Questions will be refreshed on each day based on the episodes of the Program. It is further clarified that the Contest shall be triggered only during the telecast of the Programs between 9:30 PM IST and 10:30 PM IST timeslot on each day of the Contest Period and no other timeslots.
** It is clarified that each Question of the Contest triggered during the Contest Period shall be strictly based on the contents of the Programs being telecast on the Channel from 9:30 PM IST and 10:30 PM IST.
** It is clarified that the Question shall be exhibited on graphical slate at different times during telecast of relative episode of the Program ie., between 9:30 PM IST and 10:30 PM IST.
** To participate in the Contest and to be eligible for the Gratification (as defined below), the interested Participant(s) shall be required to correctly answer both the Questions exhibited on graphical slate during telecast of the respective episode of the Program, by making a missed call to the unique mobile numbers shown against the correct answer option to the Questions (“Answer/ Entry”).
** The phone lines shall remain opened only during the Contest Period 9:50 PM IST – 10 PM IST and 10.20 PM IST – 10.30 PM IST (“Answer Timeline”) of each day of the Contest Period.
Gratification of Vijay Parisu Thiruvizha Contest
** Each Winner shall be entitled to a gratification of one gift coupon which does not exceed Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each (“Gratification”).
** It is further clarified that Star India shall at its sole discretion select the Winner and allocate the Prize to the selected Winners by way of a random selection based on the criterion mentioned herein.
** The Winner shall be declared within 7 (Seven) days from the end of the Contest Period on social media platforms of the Channel.
Selection Of Winner for Vijay Parisu Thiruvizha Contest
** During the Contest Period and for each Question asked during telecast of the five (5) episodes of each program and on the basis of the Participant (s) having made a valid Entry and correct Answer(s) to both the Questions within the Answer Timelines, to the respective Question triggered during telecast of the respective episode, SIPL will shortlist 10 (ten) Participants (“Shortlisted Participants”) each day on randomiser basis and thus there will be total 250 (two hundred and fifty ) Shortlisted Participants for the 50 Questions.
** Out of the 10 (ten) Shortlisted Participants for each day, SIPL will select 5 (five) Participant as winner for each day by using randomiser and thus there will be total 125 (one hundred and twenty five) winners for the entire Contest.
** Each Winner shall be entitled to a gratification value which does not exceed Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousand only) (“Gratification”). It is further clarified that SIPL shall at its sole discretion select the Winners based on the criterion (randomizer) mentioned herein.
