What is Parle 20-20 Cookies Contest?

The Parle 20-20 cookies Contest is sponsored by Parle Biscuits Pvt. Ltd. The Contest is open only for Indian citizens who are currently residing in India. This Contest is applicable Pan India except in the state of Tamil Nadu and regions where such contests are restricted/prohibited by government laws. Purchase of Rs.5 or Rs.10 pack of Parle 20-20 cookies having offer band is necessary to participate in the Contest. The Contest shall be live from on 1st December 2023 and shall close on 15th February 2024.

Eligibility of Parle 20-20 Cookies Contest

a. The Contest is open only for Indian citizens who are currently residing in India. Participants below the age of 18 can participate only with the consent of their parent(s)/legal guardian.

b. In addition to the other eligibility criteria contained herein, the Participants (or their parents/legal guardian if they are below the age of 18) should have a government approved photo ID proof, namely, passport, voter card, or driver’s license that is valid during the Contest Period, a copy of which will have to be submitted at the request of Parle, without which the Participant will be disqualified from the Contest.

c. The following persons are not eligible to participate in the Contest- employees, contractors, directors and officers of Parle, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, distributors, Web design, advertising, fulfilment, judging and promotion vendors involved in the administration, development, fulfilment and execution of this Contest (collectively, “Promotion Parties”) and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, and/or “step”) of such persons

How to Participate in the Parle 20-20 Cookies Contest?

a. A Participant can participate in the Contest by sending an SMS in the following format: Parle UNIQUE CODE to 8722487224
b. Participants can send SMS with 180 characters to participate in the Contest.
c. To increase the chances of winning, Participant can purchase offer packs any number of times and share unique codes from each pack during the Contest period from a mobile number.
d. Incomplete and invalid entries which are not in the format specified above will not be considered a valid entry.
e. Participants who are below 18 years of age are required to share a consent letter from their parent(s)/legal guardian along with their entry, for their entry to be treated as valid.

f. Entries must inter alia comply with the following guidelines:
i. All Entries submitted must comply with these Terms & Conditions of the Contest website.
ii. Cannot be sexually explicit or suggestive, violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, profane or pornographic, or contain nudity.
iii. Cannot promote alcohol, illegal drugs, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political agenda or message;
iv. Cannot be obscene or offensive, endorse any form of hate or hate group;
v. Cannot promote terrorist acts such as providing instructions on how to assemble bombs, grenades and other such weapons or provide instructional information about illegal activities.

g. Cannot defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging or slanderous remarks about Parle its customers or its products, or other people, products or companies.

h. Cannot contain trademarks, logos or trade dress owned by others (except Parle trademarks, logos or trade dress of Parle), or advertise or promote any brand or product of any kind (except products marketed under the brand Parle 20-20), without permission, or contain any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, personal names, e-mail addresses or street addresses;

Must be original and cannot contain copyrighted materials owned by others (including photographs, sculptures, paintings and other works of art, stills, or images published on or in television, movies, the Internet or other media, except such materials owned by Parle) without permission and cannot be plagiarized from any source;
i. Cannot contain background artwork, unless it is an original work of the Participant.
ii. Cannot communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which Parle. wishes to associate.
iii. Cannot depict, and cannot itself, be in violation of any law.
iv. Participants making statements which are contrary to existing law, by-laws, public policy or established good practices shall be disqualified from further participating in the Contest.

i. By submitting an entry the Participant warrants and represents that it: (a) is the Participant’s original work,
(b) has not been previously published,
(c) has not won previous awards,
(d) does not infringe upon the copyright, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity;
(f) and that publication of the entry via various media including Web posting, will not infringe any third party rights. The Participant will indemnify and hold harmless Parle and the Promotion Parties from any claims to the contrary.

j. By entering, the Participant acknowledges that Parle has no obligation to use or post any entry submitted by the Participant.

k. Parle and BigCity shall not be responsible for (including but not limited to):
i. For any SPAM generated messages
ii. For the Operator Code not being displayed on the user’s mobile phones
iii. For any SMS message delivery failures
iv. Any lost, late or misdirected computer transmission or network, electronic failures or any kind of any failure to receive entries owing to transmission failures or due to any technical reason.
v. If the participant has registered himself to the DND of the telecom provider/ the participant has registered with National Do Not Call Registry.
vi. Participant has specifically requested for not receiving messages for the specific campaign.
vii. Other conditions beyond its reasonable control
viii. Any SMS not deliverable due to changes in TRAI policies / Telcom operator policy.

Selection of Winner for Parle 20-20 Cookies Contest

a. Any Participant can win a max of 1 prize during the Contest Period from a mobile number. Any Participant of the Contest who wins any one of the prizes during the Contest Period shall not be eligible to win any further prizes.
Participants will be selected by the BigCity based on a computerised random selection process (“Winners”). The winning entries will be chosen from PAN India except Tamil Nadu or/and any region where prohibited by law. The decision of the BigCity will be final and binding in this regard.

b. Winners:
i. Winners: During the Contest Period, 6 winners will be selected to win to be the 12th man of 01 match each in CCL (“ 6 CCL Winners”). Therefore, there will be a total of 6 winners will be selected to win a 12th man of the match in CCL during the Contest period.
ii. Winners would be the 12th man of the team, however, would not be allowed to play with the team for the match.

c. Prizes will be given subject to the winner satisfying the verification process of Parle and/or BigCity.
d. Winners will have to follow the Code of Conduct provided by CCL.
e. Travel Arrangements and Accommodations will be provided to the winner as per the policies of CCL and are subject to change. Decision of Parle will be final and binding in this regard.
f. Entries received after the end of the Contest Period will not be considered.
