What is Sony Liv Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra Talent Hunt?

“Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra Talent Hunt” Contest being conducted by Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited formerly known as Sony Pictures Networks India Private Limited relating to its series “Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra” (“Show”) on its channel “Sony Marathi” which shall function in a manner as specified in this T&C The Contest will be available on the Company’s over-the-top platform ‘Sony Liv’ . The Contest is open only to Indian citizens. Last Date of Contest is 23rd April 2024.

Eligibility of Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra Talent Hunt

1. The Contest is open only to Indian citizens, residing in India, irrespective of their caste, race, ethnicity, colour, sex, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, family status, disability, medical or genetic condition. Citizens and/or residents of countries other than India are not eligible to participate.

2. The Participants must be either (i) minors having attained the age of 10 (ten) years but not having attained the age of 18 (eighteen) years (herein after referred to as “Minors”) or (ii) adults having attained the age of 18 (eighteen) years to participate in the Contest as on the date of the Contest. (All persons fulfilling conditions mentioned in section 1 & 2 shall be hereinafter referred to as “Participant”)

3. In the event the Participant is a Minor, in order for the Participant to participate in the Content, it is a compulsion that the Legal Guardian has agreed to the T&Cs and consented to the Participant participating in the Contest. Therefore, we strongly recommend each Legal Guardian to please read the T&Cs carefully prior to the Participant taking part in the Contest to ensure that you understand and agree for and on behalf of such Participant with the terms and conditions of the Contest. How to Participate in the Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra Talent Hunt?

i. Participants can participate in the Contest in the of the following manner:
** User needs to log in to Sony LIV app through the Platform URL provided herein, provide necessary information and participate in the Contest by uploading a 60-90 second video of comedy/acting video enacted by them in Marathi language (“Video Upload”)
** Objectionable Content will be pulled down as per the discretion of Sony Pictures Networks
** All rights are reserved with Sony Pictures Networks
** User gives permission for CMEPL to broadcast the video if they deem correct
** 6 participants with the best entries will be selected as winners (“Winners”).
** Winners will be finalized after the completion of the KYC verification.

The Participants and/or the Legal Guardians, as the case may be, will have to provide the following details on the website:
a. Name
b. Age
c. Gender
d. Address
e. Mobile Number
f. Identity Proof
g. Relation to the Participants (in case of Minors Participants only)
h. Details of Legal Guardians (in case of Minor Participants Only)

ii . In order to be eligible to participate, in addition to compliance with the terms and conditions of the Content, a Participant and/or the Legal Guardians, as the case may be, must also be a follower of the Platform’s official Social Media pages.

Note: While participating in the contest, rarticipants and/or the Legal guardians, as the case may be, shall ensure that the entries:
** shall not violate the rights of any third party, including, but not limited to, privacy rights, copyrights, trademark rights and/or any other intellectual property rights;

** is not abusive, harmful, harassing, blasphemous, defamatory, obscene, libellous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically objectionable, disparaging, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or otherwise unlawful in any manner whatever;

** does not harm minors in any way;
** does not violate any law for the time being in force;
** does not deceive or mislead about the origin of such messages or communicates any information which is grossly offensive or menacing in nature;
** does not contain software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
** shall not create any liability for the Company or any of its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, assigns, employees, agents, directors, officers and shareholders;

Selection Process of Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra Talent Hunt

i. Out of the entries received from eligible Participants, CMEPL will choose up to 6 lucky winner(s).
ii. Winners to bare the travel and stay cost on the shoot date.
iii. All rights with regards to telecast of the skits of these winners will be with CMEPL.
iv. Contest entry videos can be used in case Channel decides to make a BTS event of this episode.
v. These entry videos could be used across the platforms (On air, Digital).
vi. The Winners, if selected for participation in the Show, will have to enter into a participation agreements as may be required by CMEPL. The Legal Guardians will be required to enter into these agreements on behalf of the Minor Winners

vii. Even if the Winners are selected to participate in the Show and shooting is completed by CMEPL accordingly, the use of clips consisting of the Winners in the Show shall be CMEPL’s sole discretion, i.e. CMEPL shall decide whether or not the clips shall be used in the Show or in BTS videos of the Show/Channel or completely edited out of the Show or in any other manner as deemed fit by CMEPL. The Winners and/or the Legal Guardians, as the case may be, shall have no right to contest the use or non-use, as the case might be, of these clips by CMEPL.

viii. The number of winners selected is subject to change and shall be determined by the Company at its sole discretion.

ix. By choosing to participate in the Contest, each Participant agrees not to question, challenge or demand any explanation from the Company with respect to any aspect of the Contest including the method for choosing the winners. Further, participating in the Contest or being selected as a winner, does not guarantee any participant with an opportunity to be a part of the Show or any other shows, events, contest, etc of CMEPL in any manner. The sole gratification for the contest is as detailed in the Specific TCs herein.

Prize of Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra Talent Hunt

The Winners stand a chance to either (i) perform/be a part of the show or (ii) witness the shooting of the Show at the sole discretion of CEMPL. The dates of shooting or witnessing the shooting shall be informed to the Winners separately.
