Submission of Call for Design Contest

Calling all designers, innovators, and problem solvers! We’re thrilled to announce a design contest held by Microchip during VDAT-2024 hosted by Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore to provide a platform to showcase innovative hardware and software solutions to real-world problems. Whether it’s enhancing efficiency, promoting sustainability, improving accessibility, or addressing societal challenges, we want to see your creative ideas come to life.

This contest is open to individuals and teams from all backgrounds and expertise levels. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a passionate newcomer, your unique perspective and innovative thinking are valued.

Idea Submission :
** Your idea submission should cover a description of the idea along with a block diagram of your idea
** Benefits and value addition of your solution, example application scenarios.
** Your team description along with your contact information with mailing address.
** Faculty can be part, but lead author should be student. Presenter in the conference has to be student.

Steps for submission :
1. Use the design contest submission template provided.
2. Fill in all required details with a minimum font size: 10 pt, Times New Roman font. Max two pages including tables, diagrams, and references (if any).
3. Submit a PDF version using the CMT portal.

Registration Guidelines of Design Contest

** At least one of the authors of an accepted paper/poster/design contest needs to register for VDAT 2024 in Category A.
** Registered Authors need to present the paper/poster/design in person at the conference to receive the certificate.
** Only the Papers presented at the conference will be included in the conference proceedings.
** Payment through https://events.vit.ac.in

Important Instructions :
New User’s Instructions :
** Provide a valid e-mail address for to communicate.
** Activate your account with the e-mail sent by us to your registered e-mail address.
** Fill the relevant details to complete the registration process.

Existing User’s Instructions :
** Your registration will be accepted only if you pay for the event.
** Kindly refer the registered event details page daily for any instructions update.
** Payment, File upload for events will be closed on or before the instructed date.
** You can download the invoice receipt, only if you complete the payment.
** You can delete the registered event details, once payment completed you can’t delete.
** GST tax will be revised from the effective date, will be defer if any revision occurs for an event.
** To get on-going or completed event transaction details, Go to : Your name (Right top menu) > Profile > Transactions (Left menu)
