What is Xiaomi Football Social Media Contest?

Football Social Media Contest 2024 is organized by Xiaomi Technology India Private Limited. The participate must be a residing in India and must be following @RedmiIndia on Instagram. The Winners will be announced on 28th June, 2024. The first three Winners will each receive a mi.com e-voucher, which can be redeemed exclusively for purchasing the AFA Edition Redmi Note 13 Pro+. Last Date of Contest is 15th June 2024.

Eligibility Criteria of Football Social Media Contest

To participate:
** You must be following @RedmiIndia on Instagram.
** You must participate in all three rounds to be eligible for the Prize.
** You must have your social media account privacy setting as “public” (i.e., not “hidden” or “private”) during the Contest Period.
** can form legally binding contracts under Indian Contract Act, 1872; and
** are residing in India;
** You can participate only once in this Contest during the Contest Period. Any attempt at cheating, like creating duplicate social media accounts, will lead to immediate disqualification.
** Internet and Data Issues: Please make sure that your internet connection is stable during the Contest.

** Videos: By submitting/uploading the Video, you represent and warrant that you are the authorized account owner of the social media account used to submit/upload the entry, and that you are the sole owner of the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in the video, without infringement on any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, moral rights, or other intellectual property rights.

** You must not submit/upload any video that damages any software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment.
** The Videos must not be political, threatening, unlawful, harassing, discriminatory, obscene, false, sexually explicit or otherwise in violation of applicable laws, or contain advertisements, nudity, or personal attacks.
** The videos must not be blurred or have watermarks other than those permitted.

** By participating in this Contest, you grant to Xiaomi, a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid-up license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display the Videos, in any form and on any media, and to create derivative works therefrom, whether on a standalone basis or incorporated into other marketing or promotional materials.

How to Participate in the Football Social Media Contest?

** The Contest will be held from 30th May, 2024 00:00 hours to 15th June, 2024 11:59:59 hours.

** Xiaomi will announce and conduct all three rounds of the Contest on its social media handles @RedmiIndia on Instagram (@RedmiIndia) and Twitter (@RedmiIndia).

** The “First Round” will consist of trivia questions about football, and participants shall share their responses in the comments section; the “Second Round” is ‘Guess the Player’ where the participants will identify football greats basis their career milestones and share their responses in the comments section.

** In the “Final Round”, we will challenge you to showcase your best football tricks and share the video (“Video(s)”) with us, tagging our social media handle @RedmiIndia and using the hashtags #WorldChampionsEdition and #UltimateFootballFaceoff.

Prizes of Football Social Media Contest

Xiaomi shall, from the list of participants, who have satisfied the Eligibility Criteria, randomly pick names of ten (10) lucky winners. The selection of Winners shall be at the sole discretion of Xiaomi.
** The first three Winners will each receive a mi.com e-voucher, which can be redeemed exclusively for purchasing the AFA Edition Redmi Note 13 Pro+;
** the next three Winners will each receive a Rs. 5000 mi.com e-voucher; and
** the last four Winners will each receive a mi.com e-voucher, which can be redeemed exclusively for purchasing the Redmi Buds 5.

Selection of Winners for Football Social Media Contest

** The Winners will be announced on 28th June, 2024, on @RedmiIndia Instagram and Twitter handles.

** Xiaomi shall reach out to the Winners and the Winners will be required to provide certain personal information (“Personal Information”) including but not limited to name, phone number, proof of identity, proof of address and proof of place of residence.

** Xiaomi will contact the Winners through direct messages on their social media handles from which the videos were uploaded. The Winners will be required to provide the details sought by Xiaomi within the prescribed time failing which the Winner shall forfeit the chance to win the Prize and Xiaomi reserves the right to choose another Winner or deal with the Prize it in any other manner as it deems fit. The decision of Xiaomi regarding the Winners of the Contest shall be final and binding on all participants.

** All Winners are subject to verification, including without limitation, verification of eligibility through checks as deemed appropriate by Xiaomi and complete compliance with these terms and conditions.
** Xiaomi reserves the right to verify the Winner’s details either on its own or through its authorized agency / person and the Winner shall provide all necessary assistance in such verification.

** In exercising this right, Xiaomi may ask the Winner to provide any documentary or other form of evidence, and if evidence does not establish the same then Xiaomi, in its sole discretion, will have the right to disqualify the Winner and no claims shall be entertained in this regard.

** Xiaomi will upon successful verification share the e-vouchers directly with the Winner(s) on their social media handles and/or their email addresses.
** The Winners cannot exchange the Prize for other rewards, or refundable, replaceable or transferable for cash or credit under any circumstances.
** You agree that Xiaomi shall not be liable for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or with the acceptance, of the Prize. The Prize shall be on “AS IS” basis.
