What is AMF Video Competition?

Video Competition is organized by Airway Management Foundation (AMF). Registration for the CME is a must for participation in the video competition. Only the abstract is required to be submitted by email. Videos are to be uploaded on the day of the competition. A maximum of SEVEN videos will be included in this session during the Congress. All participants will get certificates of participation. Last Date of Contest is 15th August 2024.

Eligibility Criteria For Video Competition

Registration for the CME is a must for participation in the video competition.

Abstract of Video Competition

a) Format of Abstract:
Title: It should be self-explanatory regarding the content of the presentation.
Credits: Name(s) of presenter(s) and the institution should be mentioned clearly.
Implication statement: Briefly mention the clinical relevance of the video being presented
Description of contents: There should be a brief description of the video

b) The word limit of the abstract is limited to 300 words.
c) The abstract should be submitted by email to airwaycongress2024[AT]gmail.com, airway.amf[AT]gmail.com
d) Only the abstract is required to be submitted by email. Videos are to be uploaded on the day of the competition.
e) Last date for submission of abstract: 15th August 2024, 23.59hrs.

Video Presentation Format

a) Duration of video & presentation: to be restricted to maximum 3 minutes.
b) (The presentation will shut down automatically thereafter.)
c) Power-Point slides WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Short captions may be included in the video itself.
d) The video format should be compatible with the commonly available computer softwares.
e) The presenter can either prepare the videos with audio or can provide the commentary herself/himself when the video is played.
f) The video will be followed by a brief discussion of 2 minutes.

Important Instructions For Presentation:
a) The video must be brought on a pen drive on the day of competition (16th September 2024).
b) The participants should upload and check their videos with the audio-visual team before the start of the competition.
c) Time lost in any technical glitch during the competition will then be the responsibility of the AV team and duly compensated.
d) Although the organizers will provide you with the latest versions of software during the congress, they cannot ensure that all the videos will work satisfactorily.
e) The participants are free to bring their laptops in case they have any such doubts.

Selection Process of Video Competition

** A maximum of SEVEN videos will be included in this session during the Congress.
** If there are more entries, the scientific committee will decide the ways to select the best 7 videos for presentation during the congress.
** The scientific committee reserves the right to select these seven videos (if required) based on the inputs from the panel of judges.

Prizes of Video Competition

** All participants will get certificates of participation
** Top TWO best videos selected by the judges and coordinators will be given certificate of appreciation to that effect along with attractive prizes.
** Decision of coordination committee and judges will be final.
